I believe we are the better team and should win, but they're trying to make plays and win too and are at home.
I also don't believe Sean is the type of coach that would let his coach's or players look past anyone.
I could be wrong but I don't recall it happening under his watch yet..

After the Rams sold off the Super Bowl defense and started replacing them with practice squad level talent, I really didn't have much expectation for the defense. I guess the thought was the offense would continue to score 30 plus points a game which obviously hasn't happened. Considering Atwell and Adams combine 2025 salary is more than the complete starting twelve Rams defense, I would dare to state the Rams are getting their moneys worth.... I guess somebody is doing something right..... Or Shula is that good.


Ahkello is the best value in the league period at this point IMO. The man had been shutdown since the last 4 games of last season. The defense is mostly manned by guys on their first deals. The Rams haven't had to really pay them to this point. And obviously they aren't scrubs. This is what happens when you draft well and scout well. Now, the cool thing about this is that Stafford is likely going to retire after this season or next. Which means they'll likely have a QB on their rookie deal.. Which further means they should be able to pay Puka and the key defenders. I love the position this team is in long term assuming that McVay remains the HC.

While I realize any given Sunday, the way that Carolina is struggling offensively against a half depleted 49ers defense suggests that the Rams won't have much trouble maintaining that #1 status.

Yeah we didnt know about those picks until the end of the year, when the rams traded Green and Dick Vermeil.

This time around, we know about it throughout the season and can enjoy seeing the rams contend while talking draft on who the rams should draft in the top 8.


Best of both worlds! Can enjoy high draft pick talk, and superbowl run talk. What's NOT to live about this season!!

Or even Bennett. Just an observation not a criticism but we don't play staters in preseason. But play starters when game is out of reach. The more time Stafford is off the field during non beneficial play time the better.


Do you really want to keep telling Stafford you think he's old and Fragile and treating him that way or do you let him be Stafford and play knowing he has your confidence and support. If we want him to lead us to another SB, he has be Stafford, supported and play!

We've been watching classic games from the 70's and 80's. It's amazing how bad kicking and punting was then. Chris Bahr missed 9 of 10 kicks from beyond 40 and still had the job. Frank Corral never made 70% of his kicks and had two consecutive seasons barely making 50% and still kept the job. Punting was a joke too.. several guys averaging under 40 yards a kick. Karty would be an all pro in those days..LOL

I’ve criticized Sean McVay plenty of times before, I’ve had my issues with him, but the truth is the guy only does one thing: win. That’s all he does. And you can’t criticize winning. Since he got here, the Rams have basically been a playoff team every single year. We’re talking eight seasons, five playoff appearances (and if we make it this year, that’s six out of eight), two Super Bowl trips, and one Lombardi Trophy. That’s an elite résumé, period.

And let’s not forget: in his very first year with Stafford, he already did what everybody dreams of — won a Super Bowl. That head coach–quarterback duo has delivered more in a short time than a lot of franchises manage in decades.

That’s why it’s ridiculous when someone keeps hammering away at McVay and Stafford nonstop. That’s not analysis, that’s an agenda. And that’s exactly what Truth does every single time: he just shows up to tear down a top-3 head coach and a Hall of Fame quarterback. That’s not constructive opinion, that’s pure bias.

Now, I get what Glendora said — having a stupid opinion isn’t against the rules. Fine. But that doesn’t change the fact that it’s annoying and exhausting, because it drags down the quality of the forum. The simple fact is this: with McVay, the Rams went from being irrelevant to being a consistent powerhouse. You can nitpick about playcalling or certain decisions, sure, but you can’t argue with results.

So when someone tries to claim that McVay or Stafford aren’t good enough, it just shows they’re not looking at reality. Because the reality is that with McVay in charge, the Rams are always on the map, always competing, always winning.

Rams win out they’ll be 1 seed. Unless you think bears running gauntlet. Rams go 4-1 IMO still a good shot for 1 seed. But banking wins idiotic. Before this weekend I thought we’d lose 1 of 2 to Detroit or Seattle. And one to the (Carolina, AZ x 2, Atl).

Rams need to go 3-0 against Atl and Az. Those teams are much worse than Carolina. Atl just lost to Jets.

Seattle still plays Indy, LA, @ SF and @ Carolina. That’s not an easy schedule.

Eagles play @ Bills and @ Chargers. We we still are up a game on them.

Chicago plays GB twice, Detroit, and Niners.

This imo was an unexceptable loss. We should have routed this team. They were short 5 starters Moerig is a great safety and 2nd leading tackler on the team he and Horn is an all pro level corner were out. Starters like ILB, Center and Right Guard were out. Young is a mediocre to below average QB this should have been a feeding frenzy.

Pick 6 was terrible Puka wasn't open.

We should have run more but imo the defense as a whole was terrible, bad coverage by cbs, bad tackling at key moments, but our run defense was awful and we added Ford and Landman which should helped negate this.

Me I disagree that it was all on the players yes they are there to execute but I think it was the scheme by Shula his soft 2 deep plan against a pound it team is stupid. No adjustments. We have seen and complained about this before over the last month.

Was open for a td, but Stafford missed him. Mcvay sees the film, and see Atwell getting open, which is why he was resigned. The issue is getting him on the same page with Stafford and getting the OL to hold up

Agree 100%. Now I'm kind of hoping we trade at least one of our 2026 #1 draft picks for a 2027 #1 round pick so we have at least 2 #1 picks for 2027...

The loses in 99 were very close games. And it wasn't like the Rams were not putting up a lot of points even with the lose. Sort of like this season.



The worst game we played that year was Tampa. Very ugly. Warner threw 3 INTs. Wilkins missed a FG. Very fortunate to win that game. As dominant as a team can be we were def humbled that game

I think those records might be deceiving by the quality of the teams.

For example. Indy has a better record than Detroit, but I would much rather be playing Indy right now.

Agreed. Only 6 incompletions all night and 1 of those was a spike near the end of the 1st half.
Not bad considering he was under a lot of pressure most of the night. You got to give him that.
Lamar's developed into quite the passer, especially from the Shotgun, imo!

Lamar is not only good now, he is productive, 3 more TD's which I think gives him 9 through the 3 games.

We currently have the a top 3 QB who is prob good for 2026. So this is just early. On another note- you mentioned QB friendly the Rams are. Goff is putting up better numbers than Staff- although close. We have a ring, so there's that. But I think it's pretty weird how good Goff is now. We drafted the right guy. For some reason he fizzled here. It's strange. He looked pretty cooked when McVay said enough.....
