Re: Pack your bags Karty!

Every kick is so straight. Looking forward to seeing him kick in some weather. Loved his 52-yarder tonight and his smile afterward.

Re: State of the League...

I think that they missed having four TE. They still ran 13 at times, including the first Adams TD, during which all three TE were on the left side, but there were situations in which, say, Higbee’s skills might have been more effective than Ferguson’s, especially with blocking. It is also ...

Re: OL PFF vs Tampa is in

Avila also had a couple of whiffs.

It was great seeing Fiske, Turner, and Verse grooving hard again.

Re: WEEK - 13 (Other Games)

We’ve been talking a lot about 13 personnel and tight end play. Interesting how both Detroit and Green Bay have suffered without Laporta and Kraft. I prefer the Rams’ “we” approach with the tight ends. Thankful for that!

Re: Do the Rams need to win out now?

Yup, a win today would have made a significant difference with SF, SEA, and CHI winning. I like everything that was said in post-game, but we’ll know a lot more in Arizona next week.

Re: Embarrassing defeat! This is exactly why you want ho.e field in playoffs

Such a weird, frustrating day. I think that Ejiro Evero, former Rams safety and passing game coach, understood some of the Rams vulnerabilities.

How do you give up two big 4th down touchdowns? Things sure were sweet when the Rams won the turnover battles…

Re: My take on what I witnessed at the game

Ford was pretty strong yesterday, and I think that Fiske should be kept in more. He’s looking more like last year’s Fiske. Overall, though, the front guys weren’t strong enough, and Landman wasn’t great, for a change.

Do we think maybe Lake missing has an impact? This is the 1st game he's ...

Re: Should the Rams Cut Ties with Emmanuel Forbes Jr.?

IMG_1321.jpeg
When it comes to goobers, there really is only one, and he is iconic. But he’s not the only Pyle. (Sorry. This should be in off-topic.)

Hoping for good Forbes and great D all around tomorrow! I’m considering the remaining five games as intense auditions.

One of my alma maters, URI, is getting creamed by UC Davis, but I love their Rams helmets.

Re: No Lake hurts secondary

Lake’s versatility and smarts are needed, for sure. How rusty will he be? Good question. Witherspoon broke his collarbone, and he doesn’t look ready. Lake will be coming back from a dislocated left elbow. How do those injuries compare in terms of rehab? The two players’ body types and overall ...

Re: Why is Tutu still on IR?

I don’t know if they think that Smith is a better receiver than Atwell, but he is a great value when you consider his overall skills, especially special teams. Smith has also been very open about how much he respects Atwell and has learned from him. It’s interesting how Smith has been used the past ...

Re: PFF vs Cards...

Posted this elsewhere…
I really loved seeing Desjuan Johnson active instead of Ty Hamilton. Johnson was much more effective in preseason, too, but Hamilton wasn’t Mr. Irrelevant. Keep using Johnson! He’s a force. Hamilton isn’t there yet.

Re: Ron Gould

I noticed that Corum also caught a pass last game. That may have been the first time he’s been targeted since that game earlier in the season when he dropped everything.

Re: Rams unsung reason we won...run defense

CierraRam wrote: December 14th, 2025, 7:53 pm I made a similar post in a different thread. I agree. Shutting down their running game was key. Because no team is shutting them down completely. The Rams did exactly what they needed to do.
Exactly. They made the right choice. Shut down Gibbs. Impressive.

Re: PK Harrison Mevis has been a helluva a find.

There were issues with Ward the snapper too. McQuaide has made a difference. But even with McQuaide snapping, I doubt that Karty would be as good as Mevis. His head got pretty screwed up, and that worsened his mechanics. He needs a fresh reboot.

Re: PK Harrison Mevis has been a helluva a find.

Maybe they’ll have an actual kicking competition in the offseason. Mevis has been rock solid, so they must have good reasons to keep Karty around. I’m concerned, however, because McQuaide just turned 38. Could he still snap next year?

Re: Can Mcvay overcome another historic collapse

There’s torture with most teams, but the Rams do put us through some extremes. I had a glimmer of hope that Darnold would be pressured and blow the winning conversion. Even if that had happened, I would have felt relief and a little nausea. Sadly, it wouldn’t have felt like a celebratory moment. It ...

Re: Puka Concerns

I didn’t know about the antisemitic stuff till today, and it’s very disturbing. It’s also troubling that Puka was manipulated so easily by those idiots. Then mix in the stupidity with his brother, and it’s not good. Puka just became a father, too. I hope that the team can intervene effectively.

Re: Puka Concerns

Puka is a good kid. I actually work with a Pacific Islander dude whose family spent time with the Nacua family. He’s a big niner fan but loves Puka. Again, I didn’t say he was antisemitic but that the hand gesture is—the “Jewish dance,” suggesting the old stereotype of Jews as greedy—and that it was ...

Re: Rams Fire Chase Blackburn

I think that they didn’t make this change earlier in the season because Kotwica, in part, lost his Denver job after an ugly blocked field goal against KC. Before that he was with Dan Quinn and lost his job after an ugly onside kick. But he’s known for coverage. Maybe Blackburn was holding him back ...

Re: Rams Fire Chase Blackburn

I’m excited about Matthew Harper, who was a strong defensive back in college and also coached defensive backs. He’s assisted with some impressive special teams in Phil and S.F. (I actually remember him at CCSF.) He’s also the son of Willie Harper, longtime NFL linebacker. (He went through a divorce ...
