Goff or Wentz
Goff or Wentz..Do what ever it takes to trade up to get either one of these guys.
If not, wait for Cardale Jones in later rounds as a project.
All others are a waste of time and a pick, including Lynch. And please don't waste a pick with C. Hackenberg

Re: Goff or Wentz
I like Wentz and could consider moving up for him. Goff?...not so sure.
But like you, I'm not a fan of Hackenburg. I thought he was going to be something about 2 years ago...but wow - no more.
Although I like a bunch of the other QB's in this draft, I personally wouldn't draft one at 15 this year unless it was Wentz or Goff.

Re: Goff or Wentz
Sorry kbc, have to disagree. Neither Goff nor Wentz is close to 'franchise,' but both will likely be gone by the 10 pick. Rams would have to give up a 2nd, and maybe the 4th, to move up 6-7-8 spots for a chance. So they get a QB who'll need to sit on the bench for at least a year--with NO guarantee of having a competent starter before 2-3 years, IF at all.kbc123 wrote:Goff or Wentz..Do what ever it takes to trade up to get either one of these guys.

Then with their THREE remaining draft picks (6th isn't worth much) need to find: WR, MLB/OLB, TE, and likely a center, plus at least two from DE/DT/CB/S.
Too high a cost, given how the ever-expanding (thanks to FA losses) list of needs. Get Keenum some decent receivers, and keep the OL improving (a good center will help). Guy's mobile, smart enough, got some leadership mojo, and I watched him throw dimes at Houston for two years. I still believe he can be a willing pro QB, and blowing up a crucial draft for a maybe QB isn't a smart move. Which is why Snead may actually--sheesh--consider it.

Re: Goff or Wentz
Reason I say what I did is these two will be better than what we have. The rest are not with Jones still a gamble and may be worth it with a lower pick.
My point is don't waist time or a pick with anyone else

Re: Goff or Wentz
Agree Ants. When I saw "Goff or Wentz" and eagerness to mortgage the farm (or blow up the draft) to move up and get one, I thought NO WAY! You do that for a Luck or Mariota or Winston, but not for these guys. They are NOT Day One starters and 10-year high production locks, they are sit-on-the-bench for a couple years guys.Ants wrote:I like Wentz and could consider moving up for him. Goff?...not so sure.

If Luck/Mariota/Winston/Newton are a 10, these guys are 7.5. Lynch is a 7. And a whole bunch of guys are 5-6.
Way too many needs to blow the 15 and one (or both!!) 2nd rounders, essentially the whole draft, to get Goff or Wentz. I don't even want Lynch at 15, much rather go Treadwell, Ragsdale or draft-down for Henry and a third 2nd rounder--getting FOUR starters (much needed) vs. a QB to sit on the bench until a GRob whiff puts Keenum in a cast.

Re: Goff or Wentz
Feel Wentz could be the starter 1/4 to 1/2 way into the season. Rather gave a guy thats "when" he will start than another QB thats "if" he will start or even make the team
