Possible reason we missed the FG - wind direction

A friend of mine says Bill Parcells always says if you can take the wind at your back for the 4th quarter - we didn't why?

We lost the coin toss; the wind was out of the southwest 8-18 mph favoring the Seattle north endzone. Seattle deferred and we had he choice of which way to start and chose to start going towards the north endzone with the wind at our backs to start the game. Why not take the ball in the 4th with the wind at our backs? - Possibly a partial reason why missed the FG?

so look at the video replay there was zero wind. that is not why he missed it
