Bottom post of the previous page:
did you watch the game Rampage???? the 2 calls against Detroit were blatant i.e. the refs made the right call so how is that on the refs????Rampager66 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 4:57 pm Steelers win...
Lions had 2 TD;s called back on the final drive on Offensive PI that would have won the game and another False start.
Refs front and Center again. Those calls pretty much eliminated Detroit. Cya Campbell
come on Rampage you are better than that

the one by Teslaa is considered a pick and it will be called every time.

Yes I did and I thought the 1st PI was Iffy, but the 2nd was a no doubter... I generally prefer the Steelers over the Lions but I still like it legit.ocram23 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 4:59 pmdid you watch the game Rampage???? the 2 calls against Detroit were blatant i.e. the refs made the right call so how is that on the refs????Rampager66 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 4:57 pm Steelers win...

Just not comfortable with the call that took away the 1st TD. The rest is after the fact! I'll look at it some more and maybe I'll change my mind.

Re: Other Week 16 Games
We got hosed this week. After our disgusting loss, needed Detroit and GB to win. They both lost. Atlanta won too hurting our pick. Maybe Indy pulls something out their ass.
There’s going to be a lot of meaningless football week 18 for teams we need to win.

Re: Other Week 16 Games
no worries I just know you can't run that pick play and not get called when you bump into the DB like that. #18 should have caught the ball on the next play. The false start killed them. Campbell does such a bad job with Gibbs and Goff did come back well in the 4th but he was garbage in the 1st 3 qtrs IMO.......Rampager66 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 5:14 pmYes I did and I thought the 1st PI was Iffy, but the 2nd was a no doubter... Re: Other Week 16 Games
shocker that a website called the Michigan Defenders called it a BS call
like I said agree to disagree I watched it over multiple times and you can't do that and not get called. The St Brown play was a joke....surprised STB would be so obvious

Re: Other Week 16 Games
Lions absolutely blew an NFC title a couple years ago. Everyone said they’re young. Last year went 15-2 and dropped a game inexplicably to an upstart Redskin team (who predictably suck this year btw). Injuries were an excuse. This year out of playoffs. Cincinnati after a SB appearance and AFC title game have missed playoffs 3 years in a row.
Progression isn’t guaranteed to be linear in NFL. Year to year league. Better strike while iron is hot.

Re: Other Week 16 Games
I’m shocked Jacksonville is 11-4. They looked like garbage vs the Rams committing 13 penalties that game and gave up 7 sacks.
They’ve won 6 games a row and most of the games have been blowouts. Beat Chargers 35-6, Colts 36-19, and won at Denver today 34-20. And they did all this after Travis Hunter went out for the season.

First year coaches sometimes require time. Coen is good. See Tampa regression as example. Maybe Jacksonville a late bloomer.Truth wrote: ↑Yesterday, 8:34 pm I’m shocked Jacksonville is 11-4. They looked like garbage vs the Rams committing 13 penalties that game and gave up 7 sacks.

Re: Other Week 16 Games
beyond shocked for me. in regards to the chargers I think Harbaugh should get coach of the year. he had 4 OL starters out at one point, his 2 bookend OT's are out for the season. Herbert is just a gorilla playing with a broken hand and doing what he has done. AFC is weak IMOTruth wrote: ↑Yesterday, 8:34 pm I’m shocked Jacksonville is 11-4. Re: Other Week 16 Games
Maybe just me, but I’m just not that shocked about Jacksonville turning things around. There was a reason why McVay liked Liam. The dude is smart. He figured out what made the Jags worked, just like Sean has done w the Rams.ocram23 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 9:16 pmbeyond shocked for me. in regards to the chargers I think Harbaugh should get coach of the year. he had 4 OL starters out at one point, his 2 bookend OT's are out for the season. Honestly, McVays coaching tree is just insane.
IMO, Minn would be a playoff team right now if Darnold stayed there. Kevin O’Connell is also a great coach. Just goes to show me, no matter how good of a coach you are, if you don’t have a good QB, you’re dead in the water in NFL.

Re: Other Week 16 Games
This. Very few teams are able to keep that Superbowl momentum year after year. At the very least the Rams always (not always at 100%) play competitive football year after year. How would you like to be a jets or raiders fan. Year after year perennial losers. Especially raiders who at one time were sort of a dynasty.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 7:51 pm Lions absolutely blew an NFC title a couple years ago. Everyone said they’re young. Re: Other Week 16 Games
by far the QB position is beyond vital. agree about your Darnold take. McCarthy has turned out to be a mini bust, dude can't stay healthy.DelMar wrote: ↑Today, 7:33 amMaybe just me, but I’m just not that shocked about Jacksonville turning things around. Jax still is shocking to me and with Hunter out as well

Re: Other Week 16 Games
McVay clearly values college QBs that get into coaching. Coen was a 4 year starter at UMass.DelMar wrote: ↑Today, 7:33 amMaybe just me, but I’m just not that shocked about Jacksonville turning things around. There was a reason why McVay liked Liam. McVay also has Nathan Scheelhaase seemingly on the Liam Coen path too. Dave Ragone perhaps too. Both guys that played a ton of football in college as QBs.

Re: Other Week 16 Games
Philip Rivers is making QB look like an easy job when he come off his couch after 5 years and play at this level at age 44.

Re: Other Week 16 Games
Rivers doesn’t have much arm strength left at his age but he sure knows exactly where the ball needs to go quickly. He can dink and dunk all day if the 49ers aren’t gonna play up

Colts cant stop 9ers.
Its just looking like the wildcard is our destiny. We now need a bear's or a panther's victory next week.
