LOL , I do agree but Mcvay will never do this , AND we still have a REMOTE chance to get the first seed / bye , so we need to win out.

Will not really matter either way - due to this Epic failure they will not get to the SB with this D and ST group via the WC route - it does not happen and will not happen this year. Right in our hands only to choke it all away. The entire staff must be reviewed by someone in an objective fashion with changes forthcoming- you simply cannot lose in this manner and do nothing. It was an NFL historic choke job with everything on the line.

Re: Rest the starters the last two games
Based on vague rumors that Florida and North Carolina are somewhat warmer than Pennsylvania, Illinois and Wisconsin, I can't support such an approach...brasilrams wrote: ↑December 18th, 2025, 10:12 pmLOL , I do agree but Mcvay will never do this , AND we still have a REMOTE chance to get the first seed / bye , so we need to win out.

Rams will be at least a 5 seed by winning out. Which will be the NFC south winner. Easiest opponent in WC weekend.

Re: Rest the starters the last two games
People... the season is not lost yet.
We lost in OT @ an 11-3 team by 1 point... That's nothing to be ashamed of on the surface. The way we lost is what's hard to take.
The Hags lost like this to us the 1st time we met and they haven't lost since. 5 games.. In fact, it's their only loss in their last 10 games.
We'll be fine and probably take it out on the dirty Birds and the Budgies... and be rollin again right into the playoffs. Maybe a bye isn't such a good thing after all but the 4 division winners all have to get eliminated before a WC team gets HF advantage. So we need to win the division,
Win our 2 games is all we can control. 13-4 would be our best season since Seans1st SB vs the Pats when the Rams were 13-3 and lost 13-3.

Re: Rest the starters the last two games
Yes. This is the only response to this post that makes any sense. This crap about it not mattering and to sit the starters is pure nonsense. Rams need to go full speed ahead and win both remaining games. Seahags and whiners have a couple of tough games and just might lose some of those games.Rampager66 wrote: ↑December 19th, 2025, 8:56 pm People... the season is not lost yet.

Re: Rest the starters the last two games
However, if it's the Panthers, they'll hardly be 'easy' at home for the Rams, will they...??SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 19th, 2025, 7:47 am

Re: Rest the starters the last two games
I'm thinking that you need to get photos of Green Bay and Chicago in January, then compare them to photos of Tampa and Charlotte in January.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 18th, 2025, 10:18 pm

See if you can notice any key differences...

Re: Rest the starters the last two games
I would rest starters if as of week 18 we are guaranteed 5 seed which is a favorable match up with Carolina not as much with TB they are getting healthy.

Play to win; all hands on deck. Resting these guys does not result in beneficial future performance. They can rest in the off-season.
I want to see some URGENCY; not smurking on the sidelines.
