are the rams soft
they are really good team they have a lot of talent but they don't close Games out, everything doesn't always need to be a nailbiter and when everything is a nailbiter, sometimes you're on the wrong side of it

Re: are the rams soft

To me, this game was totally lost because of the ST performance.

I think they are / we do not have a glass eating defensive leader / thought it might be Verse but he is not that guy. Think of the Ravens D in terms of toughness - awful back 7 in terms of clutch tackling by this Rams group when it matters.

Re: are the rams soft
Bottom line we need two true corners, and a new SP coach. We can still win it all this year. However those are the upgrades for next year.

Re: are the rams soft
but even in the best of times when you go to the Super Bowl year, we blew that huge lead to the 49ers in the last game of the season, many many times the Rams have these huge leads that dwindle and then they're in a dog fight at the very end to win the game, same thing happened the last game in Seattle. the philly game This team does not know how to close out a game. The defense doesn't clamp down, it's not like they don't make plays, but they give up huge plays and make massive errors on several series in the fourth quarter all the time. They don't have to end a game with 3 3 and outs but do they have to give up two touchdown drives at the end of every game?

Re: are the rams soft
This team - its softness and inability to close out a game - are a reflection of their Head Coach / no need to look any further than that.

Re: are the rams soft
Yes ESPN this morning is saying the Rams are still SB favorites despite the loss, but the Hags have closed the gap.
I'm no longer enthusiastically optimistic going forward but down right concerned about the D and ST's. You don't win Ships with units playing like that. Units it appears that have learned nothing from the past letdowns and appear to be run by coach's with no solutions..
I hope I'm wrong on this. If SF wins their game Sunday, the Rams fall to 7th in the Playoff bracket...Anyways bro ESPN is thinking like you are!

And if we fall to 7th, no one else to blame except the Rams themselves.

Re: are the rams soft
If by 'it all' you mean a single road playoff game in Florida or North Carolina, that's a possibility, however after that it's difficult to expect any further postseason victories by the Rams in the snow.
It's also pretty much impossible for me to envision Matthew Stafford even coming close to having another season like this current one at age 38 next year, it's clearly an outlier near the end of his career...

Re: are the rams soft
A good chunk of that blame imo, falls on the guy that refuses to fire the ST's clown masquerading as a coach. Who do the 3 two point converts allowed fall on, the D or ST's?DelMar wrote: ↑December 19th, 2025, 6:53 amExactly.Rampager66 wrote: ↑December 19th, 2025, 6:45 am

Let’s NOT throw the baby out with the bath water. The Rams lost by one point minus the starting guard and Adams.Commish wrote: ↑December 19th, 2025, 6:58 amIf by 'it all' you mean a single road playoff game in Florida or North Carolina, that's a possibility, however after that it's difficult to expect any further postseason victories by the Rams in the snow.

Re: are the rams soft
We are all fans for sure - but - minimizing the issue of a warm weather team blowing HF advantage & heading on the road to cold poor weather destinations and expecting to prevail is unrealistic. 7th seed from where we were (30-14 @ 8:46 mark) possible top seed is HUGE as is the loss of our top IOL. Cannot minimize what we blew - of course you battle forward - but it was a colossal choke with serious implications and the reality of a short post season run after an MVP season from our 37 year old future HOF QB. Just a very rare and disappointing ending staring us in the face. Not being a downer but a realist.
