Can Mcvay overcome another historic collapse
Your head says no. You cant have mind you not one but 2 historic collapses and you throw in the 9er game which would also qualify as a collapse.
After Turner interception when you thought the game was over we went 3 and out. After the punt return we went 3 and out again.
No hiding this loss all on mcvay!!!
For a coach that's been crowned as the best in the league this fact stares him in the face.
Circle the wagons Sean and make up for this utter and complete embarrassment.

Re: Can Mcvay overcome another historic collapse
I will say, we play better as the dogs. Now that many are counting us out… historically this is when McVay and Co play there best.
I’ll just this, could last ngt’s awful loss be a blessing in disguise?.
Will it make the Rams do some soul searching and realize we did this all to ourselves. Honestly, name me one team that flat out beat us straight up to where the Rams didn’t help them w costly mistakes?.
Rams have the talent…

This coaching staff puts our fans through so much unnecessary stress to the point where I feel relieved when their games are over as opposed to looking forward to them!

Re: Can Mcvay overcome another historic collapse
There’s torture with most teams, but the Rams do put us through some extremes. I had a glimmer of hope that Darnold would be pressured and blow the winning conversion. Even if that had happened, I would have felt relief and a little nausea. Sadly, it wouldn’t have felt like a celebratory moment. It would have felt like “What the hell just happened, and who is this team?”
Also, Lake’s presence is needed.

I agree this smells like Broncos of '97 where they were the wild card but clearly the best team in AFC.DelMar wrote: ↑December 19th, 2025, 8:20 am I will say, we play better as the dogs. Now that many are counting us out… historically this is when McVay and Co play there best.

Maybe but must fire Blackburn he is a cancer like Bobby Evans and Noteboom were. We need to purge Blackburn and figure out a different strategy for STs and a more consistent defense.DelMar wrote: ↑December 19th, 2025, 8:20 am I will say, we play better as the dogs. McVay subscribes to the bend/don’t break defensive scheme because it allows them to delegate the majority of resources to the offensive side of the ball. The only defender getting paid right now is Landman and only because it was a team friendly deal.

This has proven to be true with McVay - does not value D athletes by position or skill set - All about O players only and it DOES SHOW in the product he produces . D is an afterthought to him.
