Let's cut him some slack. He is just young. Great heart... plus, I dont care really if hes being a dick, Def not a me type kid... immature, sure maybe a little bit.. but the way hes playing, I dont care what hes doing as long as he can back it up.

MUCH worse dudes in the NFL... This dude is our Diamond in the Rough.
You can’t say what he did in the manner that he did towards league officials sorry. He is a professional athlete in the NFL, one of the best at his job, and his age should not be an excuse for him IMO. Your team is 11-3, the talk of the league, going into its biggest game of the year on a short week and you decide to pull a dumbass “me” move while thinking through your ass. Sorry he has to be better than that. A hell of a lot better………..

He needs to reign his ass in IMO. If you watch after the game last Sunday you see Ram players walking across the field finding Lion’s players and doing what players do after a game while he is running around pounding his chest…………….

^^^ Agree. He knows better, and not like there was even a call he's pissed about that cost us a game. When you're that good, just be humble- especially off the field. Even if you're a JAG....same thing. Stay out of the neg news cycle. It distracts the team.

Oh I am not excusing anything for a minute. What he said was flat out stupid and immature. No question there.

I am just saying that hes still a kid and does some really dumb stuff. He can be immature absolutely. I have watched him for a long time, and I think he and his brother grew up saying stupid things a lot and trying to one up the other, and see who can be the most insane. I watched an interview once when he was w his brother and they both acted like 4th graders.

I was the same w my 3 older brothers, messing around doing stupid crap. Even to this day, one of these brothers still does it, and it drives the rest of us crazy... but back to my point... I just have to think that McVay or someone on staff will talk to him and relay that what he said was not ok and he needs to hold himself to a higher standard. I also think hes frustrated w injuries and also the refs not calling out more plays.

Again, what he said was stupid. But, I think he wont do this again. Just so damn stupid... someone has to talk to him.

ALL of Kronks teams almost have zero tolerance for things like this. He wants his players to be good reps of the Kronk brand..

The kid mention again does not fly with me. I’ll just leave it at that……………

Oh my bet is it won’t happen again. But that is not my concern. How the “targeted group” that he referenced in the manner that he did is my concern. He just didn’t complain about a call……………

You think we make call to just get on TV well here you go……………

Oh and which team is the least penalized team in the league going into week 16? Again thinking through his ass…………..

Puka’s celebrations after every catch with the flexing, spinning the ball, 1st down signal are so annoying. I hate that about him, and about any other WR in the league that does that.

Just catch the ball and do your job. You don’t need to celebrate doing your job. That’s what you are paid to do and that what you are expected to do.

And for a blue collar WR that likes to be physical and block, I don’t know he’s added the celebrations. It’s ridiculous. You do that enough eventually you’ll get a penalty or worse you’ll get a Safety like Kerby Joseph that breaks his leg

Kids are 6-12 years old.
Not 24 lol…

I mean if Ohtani can act like an adult when he’s he’s the greatest player since Babe Ruth, surely a WR can too.

Yes- to a degree I agree here. You can't just ban all criticism. I mean, I guess you can and they did (it's a fine). But you should be able to speak freely about bad calls, bad officials. Period. Not in public? Ok- well that will miss the mark. Everyone's an adult and should be able to give and take. What Puka said was just dumb. Blanket statement on refs wanting to be on tv. That said, you should try to keep the real comments internal and aimed at the players/teams vs NFL officials.

Every player should be forced to watch Barry Sanders highlights and his "celebrations" after a score or first down. Follow his lead. Kupp was like that.

“Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua issued a statement Thursday apologizing for performing a gesture on an internet livestream that was "antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people."

In the statement, Nacua said "at the time he had no idea" of the nature of the gesture, which has been associated with antisemitic themes.

"I deeply apologize to anyone who was offended by my actions as I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry or hate of another group of people," Nacua wrote in the statement.”

My mother was Jewish, by default, that makes me Jewish. Does this bother me? Not for a second. People get “offended” for anything. Thin skinned people “offend” me. LOL… people need to grow up and laugh a little. Who cares if it was in bad taste. It’s the intent the matters.

I am offended that people are so easily offended… the absurdity of it all.

He would be the #3 on the GSOT team!
No he wouldn’t. He’s a much more complete WR than either Bruce or Holt. Those guys have counting stats and Nacua isn’t there yet. Both were allergic to blocking.
I totally agree with this post puka makes the toughest catches more consistently than any receiver i've ever seen. And his route running is exceptional.

Celebrating a first down I’m fine with. Most all WRs do it. The penalty in Philly was bs. What he got mixed up in this week was different.

Then I say do what Adams does and just indicate first down with his right arm………..

I’m pissed every time Nacua spins the ball. JMO no need. Get that spin close to a defensive player and well another “bs” penalty could be called………

It could be an issue. Let’s hope it’s not…….

Hey I’m not too old to recognize that ok he wants to do some streaming crap with some streamers. But not on a short week with such a big game in a day or two. And certainly you have to be mature enough to know what to say and what not to when you know for certain with social media it will be plastered everywhere if you say what he did…….

Even if he feels he is right like you said you stfu……..

I am a little worried about Puka being 100% focused tonight. The media is going to be focused on him. I think his actions were pretty stupid but also very innocent. Hopefully he learned his lesson. It will be on the back of his mind all night.

Just another reason for him to not be completely focused. Seems like he is making some stupid decisions at the wrong time of the year.

I'm betting that between the Vets on the Team and the Coaching Staff, that Puka's already heard alot about it and keeping his head into the task at hand, was a huge part of what he heard about it!
