Rams playing with fire. Can win without Adams. More balanced. Need him for playoffs one way or another

Re: Devante Adams Update
He needs to rest...but again, he and his doctors know better than us fans. So if he's ok, then he's ok.
1 thing I want to see...is a lot more Tutu on the field with Puka. Split the times out there to give a rest for everyone. But Tutu>Mumpfield. Tutu>Whit. Tutu>Smith. So lets have him show off his skills and go off Thursday. Would love to see him and Staff connect all night. Speed kills!

Re: Devante Adams Update
Cross, Seattle LT, who also hurt his hamstring last week is questionable to play too. Seattle HC said they will do everything possible to get him ready.
This game is for the 1st seed, looks like both coaches are leaving every option open and are willing to play their key players despite their hamstring, if possible
Just shows how big both coaches view this game.

The Hags could be missing the LT they want to give a lucrative, lengthy, extension to this Off season... point for our side!

Re: Devante Adams Update
I have dealt w this injury a couple times in life… even in my prime in my mid 20’s, I was NEVER ok 4 days after pulling it. More like a couple weeks.
If he truly pulled it, this is a dangerous move. I for one rather have him when it’s truly do or die game, like any playoff games we’re in.
I totally realize the significance of this game. And I don’t want to travel or play an extra week if we don’t have to in playoffs… but I rather have the guy @ 90-100% in playoffs instead of MAYBE 50% for a regular season game… and even worse, what he re injures again?! And then good luck seeing him for a month.
This injury sucks and the truly only thing that fixes it, is time.

Re: Devante Adams Update
Dead on DelMar - I see it as a cat n mouse game with McVay on DA - further action now could put him out for a month - Rams have a group of “hybrid “ WR s who when mixed in can give an adequate “ fill in “ for DA. Poor weather may also dictate a different game plan.

Re: Devante Adams Update
No worries for Stafford. It would be for a recharge. No reports of any injury, mild or major. More likely for Tae though.

Re: Devante Adams Update
yes this is for DA. McVay is going to play the injury game with the media until game day and then the Rams will announce he is out for TNF.

Re: Devante Adams Update
Yeah I think the same. I also think Seattle is doing the same with their LT.
I think neither will play this week.

Re: Devante Adams Update
Of anything, we could see DA on the field in red zone opportunities. If nothing else, a decoy to open up other plays.

JMO but he won’t play Thursday………
Trust medical staff………
If he doesn’t play Thursday he will be out 2+ weeks. I certainly can see him playing against Atlanta………

Re: Devante Adams Update
McVay already stated today it is unlikely Adams will play next game....this is not a good injury guys realize he is just playing the injury game with the competition.

You can't pamper them too much or they won't be ready when the going gets tough!Rams fan since 1973 wrote: ↑December 20th, 2025, 5:38 pm When he does return, maybe only use him inside the 10?
Can't stop being who he is.. When he's ready let him play. But make sure he's ready and healthy.
