Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
To win the west its as close to a must win game as you could have.
Seattle and the 12s are going to be rocking crazy. The Rams MUST come out and match their intensity. Can't let Darnold pass for 300 yards. Blitz him, hurry him, rattle him. The "bend dont break" won't cut it.

Seahawks are one of the hardest teams to evaluate due to the inconsistent play with Darnold.

Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
The Seahawks haven't looked very good of late. They matched FG's with Atlanta and were tied 6-6 at the half before pulling away in the 2nd half. They didn't even score a TD vs. Indy. I think Seattle is a good team but they might have peaked early. And they have not played as many tough games as we have. In the east they played Washington and we played Philly. In the north they played the Vikes and we played the Lions.
They will have home field advantage and won't have to face Davante but I still think we will win.

Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
Nacua, 3 TE, Williams, Corum, Atwell, Mumfield, Whittington, n a damn good OL. Rams have plenty of offensive fire power to beat Seattle with no Adams………
Adams should not play. Yes huge game but fact is Rams still have a minimum of 3 games left after Thursday. Need him in January………
Darnell isn’t Goff. Rams know how to beat him. Nothing changes stop run game, Smith Njigba is their Gibbs keep him in check, and make Darnell beat you. I don’t think he will. And………
Don’t turn the ball over………

Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
Bottomline for me is this:
If the Rams win this game, I got them at 75% chance to get to the Super Bowl bc they will have HFA.
If the Rams lose, it likely means road at Tampa/Carolina, road at Seattle, and road at GB/Philly. You go from 75% to say 10%.
Huge game. Seattle absolutely outplayed the Rams first game and strange Myers hits a 56 yarder to win yesterday outdoors and vs Rams he missed indoors from 61 to win.
The Rams can certainly win this game and McVay has been great on short weeks till this season when he played the worst game of the year vs a depleted 49er team on a short weeks.
Darnold has had 2 straight nightmare games vs Rams defense can he make it a 3rd?
Rams are -1.

Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
I’m A little worried about this game against Seattle. The Rams are coming off a very emotional, intense win in a tough game against the Lions — a game with a lot of emotional context involved. It was a hard-fought battle.
And human nature is what it is: after a game like that, there’s usually a bit of a letdown. After a battle like that, teams tend to relax just a little.
Now you have to turn around and play Seattle on Thursday, just a few days later, on the road in Seattle. That’s why I’m concerned. I don’t think the Rams will be able to match the level of intensity that Seattle is going to bring. But If they can do that, we win.
we are the better team so if we can match the intensity, we win.

Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
No doubt for the Seahawks this will be a playoff game atmosphere. I think it’s a good test to determine how the Rams can handle the pressure on a nationally televised game.brasilrams wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 9:42 am I’m A little worried about this game against Seattle. Seattle is also on a short week and they were not impressive last week against the Colts. Bring the heat, limit YAC and create a few turnovers.
My concern is our poor secondary play… a huge concern. We have to set the tone early by getting ahead and making Darnold beat us.

The Hags just had a tough game that they were kinda lucky to pull out and are on the same short Week.brasilrams wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 9:42 am I’m A little worried about this game against Seattle. I get it that the Hags are at home, but the Rams are 5-2 on the road and left enough points on the field in both their losses to be 7-0.
Looking at the Seattle area Forecast.... No rain Wednesday, Rain all day and night Thursday and no Rain Friday..
We'll see How Darnold handles the Rain... Edge to the team most successful on the ground!

Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
We didn't handle the rain too well in Carolina , Stafford was off and even fumbled the ball in the last play. I HATE rainy games as they usually drag both teams down to a lower level. We are better then them , but with the rain , we lose that edge imo.Rampager66 wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 10:49 amThe Hags just had a tough game that they were kinda lucky to pull out and are on the same short Week.brasilrams wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 9:42 am I’m A little worried about this game against Seattle. Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
Fair enough bro. We'll see Thursday. It's not like the Hags play every home game in the Rain and it will affect them too.brasilrams wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 11:22 amWe didn't handle the rain too well in Carolina , Stafford was off and even fumbled the ball in the last play. Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
Oh , I agree. I said so , it does affect them too . I just think that without the rain , the players can play to their full potential and since we have the best players , it is better for us . I hope there is not much rain or at least , less than what forecast saysRampager66 wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 11:27 amFair enough bro. We'll see Thursday. Re: Rams @ Seahawks Pre-Game Thread
We need to take an early lead and silence the 12th man crowd. Then we need to pound Darnold on eyery down.
Run the ball; Puka on slants.
Tutu for deep outs every quarter to keep them honest. TEs must catch the ball and protect Stafford.
We are the #1 seed; time to show it.

I mean, we already know how to get in Darold's head... just do the exact same thing as last year, Rams Defense.
This is how we will win, right here.. and 12 and 13 personal on Offense.
Remember how shaken Darnold was last year in that playoff game against us?
Here is a little refresher...

I agree with that strategy 100%, I just trust the Rams front seven more to stop the run than the Rams DBS to stop JSNNorCal RF wrote: ↑December 15th, 2025, 2:34 pm Nacua, 3 TE, Williams, Corum, Atwell, Mumfield, Whittington, n a damn good OL.
