I don't have any expectations for the Lions or anyone else..HellRam wrote: ↑December 12th, 2025, 3:52 pmShows how bad media and "analyst" are at their jobs.
Reshuffled oline
New O cord
New D cord
Anyone who knows basic football knows this was not a Superbowl team this year.
That said, they do have the number 1 scoring offense with a bad oline and new offensive coordinator. In ways they have exceeded my expectations.
Just the Mighty Rams! Fuck Detroit or any other team or player that isn't Rams!
I wish them all Complete and Utter Failure...

That is a disturbing image. Was he wearing a Goff jersey and a big gold chain?SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 12th, 2025, 3:18 pm Saw some mouth breather Lion fans on the cliffs of Palos Verdes ruining the scenery. Hopefully they head back to the rust belt with an L.

Not much of a gambler anymore but I do participate in fantasy leagues too, although not in the NFL this year. just the NHL.HellRam wrote: ↑December 12th, 2025, 6:05 pmWell I'm big into sports gambling and high money fantasy leagues. It's probably why my opinions are probably the least bias on this board. I have players I like on all teams. I even rooted for the Cards when Warner played the Steelers in the Superbowl.Rampager66 wrote: ↑December 12th, 2025, 4:14 pm

I love football....I'm a Rams fan but for me the game itself is a passion. I was throwing the ball around today with some friends.
And we still throw it around once in a while too, but none of that stuff makes me want to root for other teams or players.

Sports gambling had a niche then became mainstream. Now every game (I mean spread) essentially decided in last 3 minutes w questionable characters. Lines too accurate. To each his or her own. Won a couple fantasy leagues back in day but way too much time consumption now. Cool just watching games.

I get it sports gambler. Most of the time you get it. But one thing you miss and always will is the "vibe" It is a feel you get for being a Rams fan for 100 years. I bet you made zero the first time the St. Louis Rams made their first Superbowl run. I happen to bet Rams all the time, not because it makes gambler sense, but Rams fan sense. I made a loot that first St Louis Rams run. Not because it made gambler sense, but Rams vibe.HellRam wrote: ↑December 12th, 2025, 6:05 pmWell I'm big into sports gambling and high money fantasy leagues. Ram beat lions by 10+. Take it to bank. Based on vibe, and Rams are really good. If I am wrong I will come back on forum and eat my hat.

I'm predicting the Rams win because I think they are the better team. I've been adamant before the season even started I felt this team could be special.
As for vibes? Personally, I dont think its exclusive. I think you can be a die hard and still be a football fan. Why can't I be a fan of the sport and a Rams fan? Where's the rule where it has to be one or the other?
I'm fine with those who are blind homers for lack of better terms. Hell, we even have those who bitch every Sunday and this might be the best Rams team of our lives (literally). Rarely if ever will you see me disrespect this team or it's players and even former players. If you're a Ram and help made this organization better. I respect that. Still loved Isaac Bruce even when he was a Niner. Didn't mean I rooted for them. Same with Goff, good dude and a hell of QB. He helped make this organization relevant again. Again personally....I think that makes me a better Rams fan than those who are constantly criticizing its players, coaches, or even former players.
It amazes me what some here constitute as being a "fan". Like I'm litteraly astounded by the inane logic. It's my fault though, I know better than to engage but I do it anyway. Today's society everyone is wired to be dogmatic and black and white.

Re: Rams vs Lions Pre Game Thread
As many others have noted, the Lions' injuries in the defensive backfield will be hard for them to overcome, even more than the Rams' deficiencies. I see a shoot-out with great QBs vs. the respective D-backfields, but the Rams winning by the 6-point spread.
