Very good question. Presley and fighting for that catch was awesome.

He had a great game. The way he fought for that ball between two defenders showed me all I need to know.

2. Nacua
3. Atwell
4. Whittington

If we keep 6 Pressley is who I am keeping. He faster and fights for the catch.

We won’t keep 7. I hope we keep 6. Will come down to special teams but I didn’t pay attention to how they did there.

Mumpfield because McSnead doesn't want to look bad. Yes I know he was a 7th round pick but I just don't see them giving up on him that quick

Presley because I don’t think he clears waivers. I think Mumpfield and Edward’s both do and both would work well on the PS.

Re: Mumpfield or Presley for the last WR spot?
Presley really stood out. He doesn’t drop anything, and he really fights for the ball. Shortly before Presley’s incredible catch to set up the game-winning pass, Covey was in a similar situation reaching for a high ball against defenders and couldn’t hold on. The pass to Covey looked more catchable than the one that Presley pulled in.

Agreed. Presley looked good week 1 of preseason as well. The knock on Presley is he is small. He is very similar to Tutu but not as fast at 4.45.

It might come down to who is the better blocker...and has the highest ceiling. I agree that Presley is probably the odd man out.

I would play both of them extensively at Cleveland for the preseason finale. Let's see who emerges.

Re: Mumpfield or Presley for the last WR spot?
I am not sure Stetson will play Game 3. He has already shown what he is capable of doing. I bet Dresser Winn gets some play time this week. (Maybe they split the game?) That could impact the receivers final debut.Claremontram wrote: ↑August 19th, 2025, 6:36 am I would play both of them extensively at Cleveland for the preseason finale. Let's see who emerges.

Re: Mumpfield or Presley for the last WR spot?
Winn should play the entire game only if there is a question of Stafford’s status for 9/7. If they know Stafford will be under center I’d let Bennett play the first half. Bennett though as far as I see it is on the 53 already.

Re: Mumpfield or Presley for the last WR spot?
I like Mumpfield...I think his ceiling is higher. Also, might have a shot at stashing Pressley on the PS.
KM has "Breakin ankles" type moves, and those can't be taught...Pressley has speed and I'm a lover of speed....I like both, but as stated I think the Mump Man has more to offer in the coming years

Re: Mumpfield or Presley for the last WR spot?
That was exactly my thought. (I want Stetson to play which would give us more insight on Stafford.) I don't think he needs to play more than one half.
