What is Puka Nacua worth?
Didn't realize Puka is making a million/year, rookie deal.
BUT- On Monday, the New York Jets agreed to a four-year, $130 million extension with Garrett Wilson—who, like Nacua, has only played two seasons. The deal includes a staggering $90 million guaranteed and an annual average of $32.5 million. That doesn’t just reset the wide receiver market for third-year players; it also fast-tracks Nacua’s payday.
So what will the Rams do/ pay to retain Puka? Will they make a deal sooner than later due to above.
What say ye.

Too much $$$ across the league imo. Massive rewards for failure... Don't see how they can sustain it and have a viable league...

Jets are way over spending. They also signed Sauce Gardner to a 4 year, $120mil deal.

Re: What is Puka Nacua worth?
Here is my ONE MASSIVE issue with doing a deal... and it has to do w the offseason (or even during the season at times)... and that is his other activities.
The ONLY way I would even come to the table as the Rams and present ANY type of long term, top tier type of contract, is that the contract would have VERY strong wording on w this kid does and cant do, during the off season.
Watching him dunking and playing basketball makes me balls crawl up into my insides. Like nails on a chalkboard... He is a kid, and he needs to let it out at his age, BUT... he needs to chill on some of the activities during the offseason.
Lets say this... we come to Puka and give him this type of deal, where we lock him up for 4 seasons at $35ish M a season, w $100M guaranteed... he has a great season this season, and all us well... then comes the off season next year... and there he is doing this razzle dazzle crap... are WE really going to be ok w this? Come on now, as long as we protect our investment, Puka is def worth top tier money.

Re: What is Puka Nacua worth?
It seems the Rams have quite a few big decisions on salaries coming up. I actually wouldn't mind seeing them trade certain guys rather than having their contracts expire and getting a comp pick. I really like Puka but how much of his success is the role he is in with the QB throwing to him? I like to think Whittington could be just as good.
