Bottom post of the previous page:

I rotated 180 on my opinion of him… the left is circling the wagons to eat their Hero…

I respect his choice to not get that Chinese vax… it’s sad that he has to lie, then get dragged through the dirt… for not being a lemming…

As soon as you here “thinking of others”…

NN1Badboy wrote: November 7th, 2021, 2:51 pm WHY?

I am so sick of all the liberal B.S. Ideology. Why should anyone have to be vaccinated?
For years and years all we have heard is my body my choice, when it comes to killing innocent babies.
Ahhhh, here we go again with the usual partisan political BS being inserted into an NFL discussion, predictable as clockwork! There's an "Off-Topic" section where all this ideological blatrhering can take place, weren't you aware of that?

Yes, I'm pointing it out! What's the sense of having rules to keep football-related discussion on topic, if they're not being enforced? I recall from the old AOL Rams board 15-20 years ago, this stuff can ruin a previously good sports forum.

So who's going to subtly imply that "The prohibition against partisan/ideological posts here, that only applies to ones which I disagee with?", hmmmm...?? :? :?:

ram pathos...

I guess you weren’t paying attention. This is about football. Everyone is blaming Aaron Rodgers because he CHOSE not to be vaccinated. Why should we be forced into it. If you want the vaccination fine, but if you don’t then that should be your individual choice. If all the players around him are vaccinated then they should be fine, right? If not, then what is the sense in being vaccinated in the first place? And who is ram pathos?

Commish wrote: November 7th, 2021, 1:11 pm Not to mention the business of the NFL and the Packers franchise, which mismanaged the whole situation by giving Aaron Rodgers 'special treatment' due to his superstar status.

Of course, no one is *required* to play in the NFL if he can't handle the league-wide conditions of employment, Rodgers could retire tomorrow should he desire to.

I've had numerous requirements in order to be employed in my field, quite a few vaccinations included, as have many millions of Americans. Obviously, I could have just said "No, thank you," and left my job, the same option that Rodgers currently has--although financially it would be overwhelmingly easier for him, given that he's a multimillionaire many times over.

"Arrogant, supremely egotistical and ultra-entitled," that's Aaron... :( :?

well said Commish. the whole point of my thread was to show how ridiculous Rodgers has been in this whole story. It was not a topic about getting the vaccine so to you morons who responded negatively learn how to read.
He is 100% in the wrong in regards to this. It is his right not to get it but be a F'N MAN and stand up and said you aren't vaccinated vs purposely being deceitful.
Well if you only wanted your own opinion on here and YOUR opinion is the only one that matters then you shouldn’t have asked for thoughts. I simply told you what my thoughts are.

You may not agree, but I think it’s completely wrong to force this or any other vaccinations on anyone who doesn’t want it.

What did Rodgers really say? Do we know? I agree he shouldn’t have lied about it, if that’s really what happened. But then again, he shouldn’t need to. It should be nobody’s business whether he is vaccinated or not.

If others are concerned for their health then they have the right to be vaccinated and should have nothing to worry about.

My thoughts, I used to like the guy. Smart, funny, great player, etc. It's pretty clear now, though, he is a spoiled jerk. It's not just this -his family feud, his holdout, his exes, etc. You put it all together and at some point it has to be him.

this thread had nothing to do with getting the vax. this had everything to do with our he handled this. what do you mean did he really lie about it??? Of course he did. he purposely was deceitful. all Rodgers had to do was tell everyone he didn't get the vax..that is it...like rammer said if you feel that strongly then retire. BTW I agree with you that nobody should be forced

I'm going full speculation here. I have absolutely no evidence to support it but I'd lay odds just the same.
AR is not by any stretch the only shot impostor in the NFL or in professional sports. Just the only one to get caught so far.
Athletes have been enabled and covered for any number of rule, law, moral and ethical transgressions forever. To believe that somehow this is any different is naive.
Likely that there ways to get around the shot for those that don't want it, that those ways are being shared, that there is a code of silence around the process and that the code of silence extends beyond the normal cast that are acceptable to vilify when exposure occurs.

One thing I know is his backup looked pretty bad. He isn't ready. Rodgers actually strengthened his position with the team.

No there isn't. No such fact exists.
Otherwise you'd be dead if something else already.
