Re: DeSean Wants Out
“I am very grateful for the time that I spent playing for the LA Rams,” Jackson wrote. “Although this isn’t the outcome that we wanted, I am extremely appreciative for the opportunity & support given to to me by the Rams Coaches & all of the Fans. I understand that everything happens for a reason & I look forward to beginning the next chapter of my NFL career. Thank you.”

Re: DeSean Wants Out
Didn’t see anyone giving up anything for him once it was known he wanted out
Why give up anything when you can get him after release?

Lol, y’all being hard on DJ. Can’t blame a man for wanting to contribute more to a team that can use him. I guess he thought he would be a starter and reality slapped him back to reality. Yes, I think he should of been more patient but now he may be picked up by Green Bay or the Raiders who suddenly need another WR. . I won’t call him selfish because these teams kick players to the curb all the time, so he’s looking out for himself!

Struggling team you bet it’s appropriate to ask why I’m not being given more of a chance. 7-1 team with the leading receiver in the league on the team plus two other really good producing receivers also? Hell no!
His only comment to McVay should have been I’m here to do whatever you need me to do to period. Not complain because he wasn’t being targeted enough. His frustration of ME not being involved as much as ME wants to be is BS. NFL your job is to be a professional. With this teams issues at punt return he should have been telling McVay I’ve got this I’ll fill the roll instead of I want more snaps at WR.
You bet he defines selfish. Glad his bleep is gone!

Thing is injuries happen and Jackson could go from not much playing time to full time starter at any time. Could have been a Super Bowl hero just being patient and waiting his turn.

Re: DeSean Wants Out
well let's all hope we can stay healthy at WR. this would be a huge mistake if one of the top 3 gets injured. I have never been a fan of DJAX's antics over the years but he does have a talent. The Rams knew about his baggage going in. Maybe they could have managed it better.
Now with Bambi, sorry TuTu, being injured and out for the year they become very thin at WR

JMO but it’s no mistake when that player doesn’t want to be here because he isn’t getting the touches he wants. You don’t preach We not me and then be fine with his crap. He requested to leave period.ocram23 wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2021, 3:26 pm well let's all hope we can stay healthy at WR. this would be a huge mistake if one of the top 3 gets injured. Re: DeSean Wants Out
Oh I dont know about that with Ben and Jacob Harris around. If VJ gets hurt, then yeah there is no over the top speed left on the roster. That's a problem. So a specific injury to VJ validates your point. I otherwise dont think Tutu was ready to play given Sean's recent comments about him. The other two rookies seem to be ahead of him.ocram23 wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2021, 3:26 pm well let's all hope we can stay healthy at WR. this would be a huge mistake if one of the top 3 gets injured. He made the meal and now he gets to eat it.
Maybe a smart move but I would’ve stuck with the Rams.
It’s a long season and you never know when you’ll be asked to be the man.

Re: DeSean Wants Out
Raiders or Falcons
Dolphins are desperate too. They need to win. They don't have a first round pick and currently have the 2nd worse record in the nfl.
Wow talk about screw up

Shanahan was in Washington with McVay and him. And other than Samuel the Niners are not happy with the WR unit………………

Re: DeSean Wants Out
He doesn't care about a ring. He cares about money . His contract from what I am reading was incentive based ( heavily ) . that means if he doesn't get his touches , he doesn't make money ( or makes a LOT LESS ) . So all this bitching about not getting the ball , is about MONEY . As usual , money . Nothing else . I would bet that if he was getting the same money with ZERO touches or 20 touches per game he wouldn't give a damn .BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2021, 1:57 pmUnbelievable, really. How a Ringless Veteran can give up a REAL chance at a Ring. Is he really this dumb???
Independent of of course rooting for the Rams to win it all, I'd love to see the Rams win it all and have this Bozo have to live with the fact that he completely BLEW IT.

and I will play devil's advocate on this....what if the Rams were purposely doing this so they would not have to pay him?brasilrams wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2021, 6:49 pmHe doesn't care about a ring. Re: DeSean Wants Out
It is a possibility , I mean , I don't doubt it . We will never know for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the case. At the end , it is all about money . We fans , we just want our team to win . But for them ? and I mean , coaches , GMs , staff , players , etc .... it is a business and it is all about the money . Of course some players , coaches , some of them , they do have that competitive spirit in them and they also want to win , they also want a ring , but mostly , it is all about the money .ocram23 wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2021, 6:53 pmand I will play devil's advocate on this....what if the Rams were purposely doing this so they would not have to pay him?brasilrams wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2021, 6:49 pm He doesn't care about a ring. Re: DeSean Wants Out
We will see but, In all honesty the lions should claim him
They have to get Goff a wr.
Also be a funny wink wink deal for McSnead and Holmes. McSnead makes sure D Jack stays off another contender and gets the last laugh.
With that said, the Lions do make sense. We will see.

I haven’t heard anything on Jefferson… should be ok, now we can see a few new guys step up…Cornell29 wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2021, 5:22 amWe will see but, In all honesty the lions should claim him

I just saw a mock draft with the Lions using our pick to draft Sam Howell of N Carolina… Goff might get one more chance… or they ditch him and draft a veteran “journeyman”…

Re: DeSean Wants Out
call me crazy but if I am Detroit I am selecting the big OT from Bama Neal. Solidify the OL and go from there. Pick up a couple of skill players in FA and then build thru the draft
