Contract negotiations are over . Jamal Adams is now the highest paid safety in the NFL . If you ask me , well deserved , guy is a beast . I just hope he doesn't freaking hurt our players in both games this year , last year he fucked DH's ankle with a tackle from behind and then , our QB ( wolfie ) .

Good player around the line of scrimmage and great blitzing the QB. Unfortunately he’s lost in coverage so he’s limited as a safety. Seahawks might have overpaid but they had to sign him after paying so much in draft capital to acquire him. Rams will have to account for him always at the line of scrimmage and possibly exploit him when he’s in coverage.

Perfectly said.

IMO, I couldn’t imagine paying a safety that much money who couldn’t cover if his life depended on it. I don’t care how good a blitzer he is.

Adams is definitely a force in the box. Coverage and ball skills are lacking but he’s definitely a disruptive force. Just not a traditional safety.
