Goff
Watched the game. Typical Goff 18 play 10 minute drive and a field goal. Glad as heck that's in our rear view mirror. Go Rams!

Re: Goff
If you are going to use "If" on the PI call you should also point out he should have been int on the first drive.HellRam wrote: ↑August 14th, 2021, 12:00 pm I thought he looked the good. The goal is to move the football downfield wich he did and maybe they get a TD if PI called in the endzone. Plus there was no Hock and Swift. Albiet I dont take much from pre-season performances. However, you dont want to look bad either.
What I really noticed was the difference Ragnow made. Goff was able to step up in the pocket and had a couple scrambles. Goff can handle pressure, just not when its in the middle in his face.

Re: Goff
No ill will towards Goff, but the only QBs I'm interested in now are the ones on the Rams roster.
And a small part of me won't ever forgive Goff for forcing my team (whether rightly or wrongly) into using premium draft picks and paying him to be elsewhere.
He should never have allowed that to happen to him in my opinion.

I don't even care about Goff anymore. He's not a ram. I'll be watching Stafford for now on. Loved him with the lions tho.

Re: Goff
My thoughts exactly. Goffs decline and lack of commitment to the team started right after he got his deal. Go figure.Yorkshire Ram wrote: ↑August 14th, 2021, 3:33 pm No ill will towards Goff, but the only QBs I'm interested in now are the ones on the Rams roster.

Not sure exactly what you’re talking about DM. I might have a different view of things but then we all are free to have our own thoughts right? Just be respectful of others opinions and move on. You don’t have to be the Thought Police

Re: Goff
I do appreciate the winnings , but what I don't appreciate is hiim starting to decline right after he signed his monster deal . So ..... There is always 2 sides to a story . He helped us win a lot but also fucked us , when he started to regress and made us mortgage 2 first rounders for a decent qb to replace him .HellRam wrote: ↑August 14th, 2021, 9:46 pmLike Goff or hate him. Doesn't matter to me.brasilrams wrote: ↑August 14th, 2021, 6:05 pm My thoughts exactly. Goffs decline and lack of commitment to the team started right after he got his deal. Go figure.
But lack of appreciation for the amount of winning we've had the last 4 years I do find odd in my opinion.
in his defense , he is not the first player nor will be the last to do this . ( stop improving and actually declining after getting his monster deal ) . But that is what separate men from boys . I clearly remember AD saying : " now that they have invested all that much money in me , I gotta prove it was a good investment so I need to play even better " and he did it. His productivity simply continued to go UP. That is the correct mentality , but that is also very rare . It is human nature to relax with your work after obtaining the money that you were aiming for . This is no excuse and this shouldn't happen but unfortunately it does.

Totally agree. Backed him vehemently until I couldn't anymore.brasilrams wrote: ↑August 14th, 2021, 10:04 pmI do appreciate the winnings , but what I don't appreciate is hiim starting to decline right after he signed his monster deal . Appreciate his accomplishments for the Rams but I'm done with him now.
