Rams/NFL making a fateful mistake
Scheduling the Raiders to play the first pre-season game with fuller capacity, may result a stadium full the ex-LA Raider Fan cult thugs.
Just not a good look for our team in our new house. We were already embarrassed last year at home by Frisco fans outnumbering us.
Wish we opened against the Chargers instead.

Re: Rams/NFL making a fateful mistake
I may be missing your point. The Raiders are our second preseason game and obviously it's preseason. I really dont expect the stadium to be filled for the second preseason game. Yeah, maybe if we were in Cleveland or GreenBay but it's Los Angeles. As far as I'm concerned, preseason doesnt mean anything whether it's on the field or in the stands. Embarrass me all week long in preseason, so what!

armyram you are not from LA are you?
You would only get the dynamics of this post if you lived in LA in the 90’s, or like me grew up a Ram fan in the SF Bay Area. The crowd will be telling and it has nothing to do with the pre-season game on the field.

I don’t know why fans would want to attend a preseason game. My brother got free tickets very close to the field a few years back to an Eagles preseason game. We only had to pay for parking and we still felt ripped off. The only entertainment was betting on which drunken Eagles fan in our immediate section would get escorted out by security.

Looks like the solution is to get some Rams fans in that place to overwhelm those dirty cork socking Raiders fans........

Re: Rams/NFL making a fateful mistake
Let’s see one does a search on NFL fans fights at games and low in behold almost every teams fan base comes up with video of fights including multiple times Ram fans fighting Ram fans.

Eastbay:
Understand completely.
The last Rams Preseason game I attended with my family was a Rams-Raiders game in Anaheim August 1993 with the Raiders. Nothing but bloodshed in the stands the entire game.
I will never expose my family to such crap ever again. When the Silver and Black show up, I stay home.

Re: Rams/NFL making a fateful mistake
yeah I used to go to the Raider games in LA and it was crazy... I will say this the 49er fan now is pretty damn close. You go onto you tube and look at the NFL fights in the stands and a lot of them are with 49er fans. Raiders IMO are the best travel fans in the NFL. they are everywhere.DMRamFan wrote: ↑May 19th, 2021, 9:49 amThis topic could be asked of every team where the Raiders are playing. Yes, Raider fans are rough. Like I mentioned in the past, my x wife was a Raiderette. Tough games to go to if you are a fan of the opposing team. Not an environment for kids... like at all. Raiders are perfect in Sin City. When they come here, I really think you will see more Raider fans in the stands than Ram fans for a few more years.Mike Schad 1st Rd wrote: ↑May 19th, 2021, 9:37 am In HIS Defense he's not worried about the actual GAME itself, he's worried about Raider lowlifes taking over the building. Small potatoes. We WON the L.A.derby, Raiders lost big time. Let em have their fun, as long as we sanitize and delouse the place afterwards we'll be fine.
Ain't nothin stopping the Rams Super Bowl train...
Going to be interesting this year how our stands look. I always hate when the 49ers come to town, sea of red is disgusting. It will take time, but we are growing the fan base. We just need to win. I must say, the new uni and helmets sure dont help our cause imo.
Bottomline, Rams left us So Cal fans high and dry. Fans like me dont forget what Georgia did. But, she had her reasons and was promised the World in St Louis. Thank goodness we got an owner that knew we needed to be back in LA... for so many reasons, as you all know why.
St Louis Fans... I know exactly how you feel.
One of the sports channels, forget who it was, did a piece on the Raiders moving to LV and there were several fans that actually moved to LV to be closer to them. crazy

Worst fans to travel are the ones from New Orleans. Nothing but fights. Best travel fans are from Green Bay
