Easy to say "after the fact" that the rankings were bullshit? I think the aftermath facts are the facts.

I heard the Big Ten described as overrated all year - do you have stats showing otherwise? (i.e. out of conference/key wins).

CLEARLY the Pac-12 was under-valued. It's why we kept/keep hearing that stated over and over thru the tourney. The Pac-12 winner (Oregon) a 7 seed? I don't care how Oregon (or anyone else) achieved that title, Pac-12 champ a 7 seed isn't disrespectful? And clearly proven way off…Oregon 95-80 over mighty Luka Garza and 2nd seeded Iowa. Also, that was no aberration as the entire Pac-12 rolled, and the Big Ten went down as the pretenders they were.

But sure, argue with this year's March Madness as again the results of the Pac-12 (especially vs. the Big Ten in the tournament) and get back to me on what's actually ridiculous here = a lot of fucking hype was going on with the Big Ten OBVIOUSLY. I loved it

you are talking to a Pac 12 guy but make no mistake there wasn't anyone promoting this conference prior to the tournament beginning. then UCLA beats MSU and some guys start saying hey this conference may be underrated. The Pac 12 has been irrelevant in the tournament for years. Of course there is an east coast bias but the Pac 12 hasn't done anything to prove nay sayers wrong until this year. UCLA down the stretch was awful and now look at them. Big 10 basketball has been way better than the Pac so I have no issue with them getting a higher rank. Bottom line is the Pac 12 needs to be more consistent on the national level and this tournament is a good start.

I heard ESPN giving the Pac-12 some love at the end of the season. During Oregon's last week of regular season for instance, I heard the Ducks referred to as a legit final four team. I agreed that they had got hot/healthy at the right time, but I didn't feel much if anything separated them from the Pac-12's top teams as well. Oregon State was the obvious surprise for me (tho I knew they had talent this year as well), but again, the tournament has shown how competitive the PAc-12 actually was. Of course it also is a conference that has it's share of players drafted into the NBA, but sure it had some down years in March Madness...

As a Michigan man, I can honestly say I didn’t recognize that Michigan team last night. And full credit goes to UCLA. They made it their type of game, took Michigan completely out of their game, and Deserved to win. I hope they somehow do the same to Gonzaga.

yeah when I watched them destroy a very good FSU team the other day I thought for sure they would go thru UCLA. they didn't have the same fire IMO.

Michigan was definitely the best of the bunch (Big Ten) tho. I thought their bigs would be too much (and maybe they still were), but in the end it came down to some untimely missed shots like games often do. Nothing but praise for that Michigan team from me - yes UCLA is really gelling at the right time...great game, but I'm sure that one stung big time....
