Good call, but I hate to pick up. Rather draft a young guy like D’wayne Eskridge

How can you hate it, you haven't even seen the contract yet lol. We didn't need much at the wr postion just a guy who can stretch the field and spell as the 4th guy. Also signing DJax wouldnt prevent us from adding or drafting a player.war room warrior wrote: ↑March 21st, 2021, 5:47 pmGood call, but I hate to pick up. Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
We STILL need to draft a deep threat WR. It’s a low risk signing but he hasn’t stayed healthy. I do think his experience and attitude will definitely help us and IF he can stay healthy, all the better. But imo, we still need to draft a deep threatTimking124 wrote: ↑March 21st, 2021, 5:52 pmHow can you hate it, you haven't even seen the contract yet lol. Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
Too old for a number 3 or 4 wr? It's just a one year deal.

Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
Sure wouldn't. Do both, sign Desean and draft Eskridge. Eskridge will provide depth and will take over after Desean, which could be 2022.Timking124 wrote: ↑March 21st, 2021, 5:52 pmHow can you hate it, you haven't even seen the contract yet lol. This is just us righting the wrong of us picking Donnie Avery over DJax in the Draft

Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
I am not a fan, but I guess he really makes sense. I don’t see him stifling Vans progress and time on the field. I see him almost like the Baseball DH for a few packages, and a true trustworthy punt and kick returner. And I bet he was cheap.

Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
I like it because he fits the bill of a 4th receiver with speed. If he can stay healthy it is a good not great signing, because I too wish we found someone in the draft.
Conversely we can check off that speed receiver from our draft needs unless a great one falls in our lap.
To me this signals that Snead/McVay have a precise plan for the draft. This draft feels like a deep focus on CB, ILB one or two OL, backup DT, S and bruiser RB jmo.

Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
I’m not saying I hate it cause of the money, I can care less, I hate it cause he’s always hurt, what happens if say he misses 9’games? Rather draft D’wayne, not getting him after the 2nd round. What they’ll do next year. Try to find another guy. This year is a great WR DRAFT classTimking124 wrote: ↑March 21st, 2021, 5:52 pmHow can you hate it, you haven't even seen the contract yet lol. Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
D Jack one year deal isn't a reason for the rams to avoid a wr in the draft. If they don't draft a wr it's bc they don't like who was on the board and value at the time.war room warrior wrote: ↑March 21st, 2021, 6:15 pmI’m not saying I hate it cause of the money, I can care less, I hate it cause he’s always hurt, what happens if say he misses 9’games? Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
Signing DJax is insurance in my opinion. If the guy we want doesn't make it to us we still have a guy. Also because we drafted VJ last year in the second round also plays a factor.war room warrior wrote: ↑March 21st, 2021, 6:15 pmI’m not saying I hate it cause of the money, I can care less, I hate it cause he’s always hurt, what happens if say he misses 9’games? Good signing. Like previously mentioned, got the return guy, speed guy, and experience to know how to run the routes.open the playbook up coach McV!

I would be a lot more happy about this if the year was 2013 as opposed to 2021.

Sure hope not but you may be right, he only played 8 of the last 33 Eagles games 2019/2020.
23 catches, 395 yds, 3 TDs.

Re: Rams Sign WR DeSean Jackson
I don’t HATE the signing. Especially on a one year deal. Jackson is definitely past his prime but he can still take the top off a defense. The big question will be whether he can stay healthy. Dude has missed a lot of games in recent years.

Nostradamus congrats I guess. Not a real tough call considering him and McVay’s past.

This^ in regards to first paragraph. He will play hard for McVay. But let’s not kid ourselves he is a 4th WR at this point in his career.

I DON’T like this signing, he’s NO WE, it’s all about him plus 34 always hurt. Just hope it doesn’t stop the Rams from drafting a young speedster.
