The level the Rams are playing at tonight feels higher than any game of 2021. You got Stafford playing at his highest level of his career and a very feisty defense

The same idiot says we only scored 14 points like it is mcvays fault, that huge plays that would set up scores were called back because of penalties and one fumble. I guess that is mcvays fault.

Game on the line and instead of going the safe route with a running play the rams converted a game winning 3rd down through the air. Thats not a killer instinct?

Instead you complain about the rams not attempting a 57 yard fg, earlier in the game, that wouldn't have sealed the game bc the Texans could still tied with a td and 2 it conversion.

In summary when it came down to the rams making a game sealing play, they showed a killer instinct. Despite that, you feel the rams dont have a killer instinct bc they didn't attempt a fg that wouldn't have sealed the game.

After the fact... those 2 losses were good learning experiences and as we've seen, they seem to have addressed what they learned from them.

Man , what is there to evaluate ? Mevis is 15 for 15 with a 52 yarder that would be good for 60 right in the middle with the defender in his face ! Karty misses that kick 10 out of 10 times that he tries.

People were in his face almost blocking the kick and he still kicked with confidence and he is unfazed .

WHY are they keeping KArty ? Just CUT him already , jeesus


Trying to see how Mevis performs in a high pressure situation, I guess. Karty has a confidence issue, which is fixable in most cases.

on a separate note BD your Bulldogs on defense looked awful on saturday. I got lucky and pushed the game due to Tenn missing the FG late. thought the defense was the strength?


They definitely did not look very good. A couple of the long passes were covered well, just didnt make the play.

We have lost so many defense players the last 2 years to NFL draft and transfer portal. The way of NIL now. We used to be able to start JRs/SRs after they gained experience. The great players leave now if they dont get the play time they expect. I think this unit will get better as the season advances. I am not sure we have any top 10 defense draft picks like we have had the last few years. It definitely was not a typical Kirby defense.

Not under McVay though. They were like 14-5 under him when playing @ 10:00am pst before yesterday. And I don’t think I’m blaming the Philly game this year on the starting time…………

I know you know this oc. It’s just ridiculous IMO that some blame yesterday on the starting time. Right up there with the weather excuse……..

Nothing to over analyze about yesterday from where I sit. The QB turned the ball over 3 times and the D sucked. That covers it…………..

Since everyone dont see PFF as highly reliable alone.
This chart uses the average of 3 different graders. PFF, ESPN and SIS (Sports Info Solutions). The average of the 3 has the rams ranked nearly last.


Again the numbers dont align with the data I've seen.

At the end of the day the Rams have invested in the oline substantially. Who are you replacing and how are you getting better? That's the real question...


I'm not saying that it isn't fixable (coaching, cohesiveness, health), just that it has to improve as the season progresses.

I would think if a player was actually lacking effort they would be pulled from the game………..

I for one see CB’s whiff on tackles every Sunday in every game that I watch……….

Tush push is bs because planes illegal for years. Then became legal all of a sudden. It’s not a football play. Why not let guys leverage each other to block FGs? Which is illegal.


I'm fine with the push tush, as long as it is properly officiated. The issue is the players are so bunched up that the refs cannot see false starts or illegal formations.

All the league had to do is make every tush push reviewable with replay assistance.

It was WORSE than a bad game ...much worse . He was horrible in september / october ( worst in the league by most metrics ) , then very good in november , now the beggining of december he has hit rock bottom again. Does this seem like a cb that you want to be your starter ?

Despite being a future hall of fame, I don't get why refs dont give Adams more calls. There has been a few DPI against Admas over the last few games that the refs didnt call.

Like i said this was an anomly total outlier like you said when up bu a large margin we always win same for the league.

One question i have that Brown is by far there best wr so why not double him on onvious passing downs and force Hurts to have Goesart or Smith beat us just not Brown.

I think Rams go BPA and then CB.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a WR or DL taken with one of those number number 1's.. thinking ahead to Adams leaving and not having Cap to sign everyone in 2027.

But i also wouldn't be surprised to see them trade out for a 2027 first rounder and extra 2nd, late 1st.


Why exactly would Adams leave? He's getting TD passes like candy from Staff. He could argue he deserves more targets I guess, but holding onto more passes would probably lead to that .. Not a fan of of a skill position player that high. OT maybe, G ok, CB absolutely, even a stud ILB or DT


Adams has been quoted as saying this is the most fun he has ever had playing so I don't see him leaving either.

The only reason we are focused on TF is because the spot where he was drafted. Or else this would not be any discussion. Same deal with Atwell.


I think he will get to number 1 TE in a few years imo..
