Man I never thought I would never, ever say this but Stetson Bennett looked like the best player on the field, on both sides of the ball, and it was not even close. - 2 Been thanked

November 9th, 2025, 4:29 pm Re: Rams @ 49ers Game Thread November 9th, 2025, 4:29 pm Re: Rams @ 49ers Game Thread
Maybe he didn't want to rub it in Karty's nose.... but probably because they were 5-5 in the RZ today until the Victory formation on their 17 at the end of the game makes us 5-6.
I get that and makes perfect sense.
But I’m thinking if we have to rely on him in a close game… how is he going to handle pressure?. NFL is a lot different than college and the UFL.
I know Sean likes to start new guys slowly… but if we can’t rely on him when it’s easy, how are we supposed to rely on him when it’s hard and the pressure is bananas?.… 🤷🏻♂️
But how much pressure is it? Rams up by so much, Rams win regardless even if he miss. He had more pressure on the earlier PATs when the game was still close.
We will have to wait for a real pressure moment.
With that said, I am with you, I would have like for the rams to kick a fg there, not to give the kicker extra practice, I wanted the rams to kick it to further stick it yo the niners. - 2 Been thanked

November 15th, 2025, 1:51 pm Re: Rams vs Seahawks Pre Game Discussion Thread November 15th, 2025, 1:51 pm Re: Rams vs Seahawks Pre Game Discussion Thread
I could be wrong, but I think our D-line will be able to rush Darnold with much more aggression than they did last week. Zero sacks against Jones was not fun. They couldn’t go all out because they had to maintain their gaps and stay disciplined due to the huge threat of McCaffrey. Seattle’s run game is good, but we don’t have to respect it as much — they’re a pass-first team with Darnold, and he’s not very mobile; he’s a pocket passer. Our D-line is going to get to him multiple times. I’m betting on that. - 2 Been thanked

The photo of that OL is a perfect model of how any change should go. They tried "fixing" something that was perfect and ended up flying the plane into the side of the mountain.
Just pur that helmet next to the current one. Really?? How could anyone, besides the office girls say "oh yea, lets go with the crescent moon!!".

September 8th, 2025, 10:14 am Re: Beaux Limmer and Coleman Shelton September 8th, 2025, 10:14 am Re: Beaux Limmer and Coleman Shelton
Shelton rated 17 out of 18 centers. Damn . It is one game and maybe he can improve , but maybe it was a mistake to bring him back. He was never that good to begin with .
I really didn't understand this move at all. Maybe they liked his experience but I thought letting Limmer grow into the position would have been a better option. But the whole game was sloppy. Just like every year, McVay rests his starters all preseason then when it comes game time, they are trying to shake off all the rust the first couple of games. Hopefully next weeks game will be a little easier for us and we can start prepping for the big game against Philadelphia. - 2 Been thanked

September 9th, 2025, 12:46 pm Re: Sean McVay Appreciation Thread September 9th, 2025, 12:46 pm Re: Sean McVay Appreciation Thread
McVay liked our D over that FG attempt - it's a close call, but I liked it at the time. You think it was a chip shot - most probably disagree.
Couldn't have a killer instinct last year until we got some healthy bodies back. Until then it was a pretty reduced playbook...and don't eliminate the jet sweep as long as teams are looking for it as well - sometimes you run things to keep teams honest/set other things up at the very least. Nit-picking is so easy...so stop passing if you throw a pick?
Rams won. Your way they might very well have lost. Whatever - 2 Been thanked

November 24th, 2025, 11:08 am Rams D now a force November 24th, 2025, 11:08 am Rams D now a force
Saw a real change in Rams D vs Tampa Bay that was truly welcome. It seems our secondary has morphed into a coverage improved, solid tackling, deep group of aggressive athletes that has emerged just in time. Shula is dialing up a more aggressive tighter script that all of the players seem to enjoy and respond well to - and seem well adjusted to the task. Here is hoping it continues and that the Rams do not take their foot off the gas in the stretch run. In ending, I think the Rams have the best group of Safeties in the NFL - bar none. - 2 Been thanked

September 12th, 2025, 6:53 am I forgot to post some love for Byron Young after the Texans game September 12th, 2025, 6:53 am I forgot to post some love for Byron Young after the Texans game
I thought he was the best player on defense against the Texans and they were constantly calling out number 0. What a great 3rd round pick he's turning out to be. He and Kobie Turner both came in the 3rd round and solidify our D. The 2023 draft could be the best class ever for the Rams in terms of multiple impact players.
"Byron Young flies a bit under the radar for the Los Angeles Rams with Jared Verse, Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske all on the defensive front, but he deserves a lot of attention. He’s a fantastic edge rusher who had a big impact in the Rams’ Week 1 win against the Houston Texans when he recorded three pressures, a sack and nine tackles. Sean McVay said it was “one of the most complete games he’s played” while discussing Young on the “Coach McVay Show” this week, but he could be in for an even bigger performance on Sunday in Tennessee."

November 30th, 2025, 3:49 pm Re: Run Defense November 30th, 2025, 3:49 pm Re: Run Defense
This is dead on accurate. Run D we employ is small by NFL standards and cannot stop down hill run heavy teams. Seattle played this way and gashed us on the ground and kept our O in the sideline. Based on our inability to stop it today we will see a lot more of it in the future. We Ram nearly no O plays in the 3rd quarter exactly like the Seattle game. - 2 Been thanked

September 17th, 2025, 6:04 am Re: Rams @ Eagles Pre Game Thread September 17th, 2025, 6:04 am Re: Rams @ Eagles Pre Game Thread
I heard this morning the Rams lead the NFL with plays under center. (It was around 62% or higher.) I can't find the stat anywhere but will keep looking. They were talking about how many QBs can't play under center since they don't in college.
The interesting thing I found was that when Philly is under center they run the ball 96% of the time. (I even saw 1 post that said last week they ran 100% of the time under center.) Just thought this was an interesting stat. (The Tush Push gets counted so probably skews the mix a little.)

Rams back on track today. As dynamic as the passing offense was I think the Rams could have won the game today without a pass. The offensive line is getting on a roll and with the 13 groupings they are just smashing the ball up the field. Kyren and Blake both going off. Yeah .. thing is .. crowded and GOOD are NOT synonymous
I was thinking the same thing. Who cares how crowded we are. None of our TE's are better than average. Not even Higbee at this point in his career. Get the rookie in there. He can't be any worse. And oh, by the way, draft another TE next year too. - 2 Been thanked

Understood but some of us need a few more days because of who we lost to………
The last time I checked, the Rams won a Superbowl just 4 seasons ago...The 49ers haven't won a Superbowl in 30 years!! We're talking 1995 folks. Losing to them last night was tough, but we did make our presence felt as I'm sure they are feeling it today, especially Mac Jones because he got battered. The Rams will be fine people...we have a great team and Stafford looks fantastic!!
You don’t think I know all that?…….
Fine you are ready to move on. No issue with that. But I live in Niner land and well it’s not enjoyable especially after a game like last night. So yes a few of us need a few more days. Our prerogative……..
Oh by the way Mac Jones getting battered doesn’t change the fact that he lit are D up period……… - 2 Been thanked

December 19th, 2025, 9:06 pm Re: Rest the starters the last two games December 19th, 2025, 9:06 pm Re: Rest the starters the last two games
People... the season is not lost yet.
We lost in OT @ an 11-3 team by 1 point... That's nothing to be ashamed of on the surface. The way we lost is what's hard to take.
The Hags lost like this to us the 1st time we met and they haven't lost since. 5 games.. In fact, it's their only loss in their last 10 games.
We'll be fine and probably take it out on the dirty Birds and the Budgies... and be rollin again right into the playoffs. Maybe a bye isn't such a good thing after all but the 4 division winners all have to get eliminated before a WC team gets HF advantage. So we need to win the division,
Win our 2 games is all we can control. 13-4 would be our best season since Seans1st SB vs the Pats when the Rams were 13-3 and lost 13-3.
Yes. This is the only response to this post that makes any sense. This crap about it not mattering and to sit the starters is pure nonsense. Rams need to go full speed ahead and win both remaining games. Seahags and whiners have a couple of tough games and just might lose some of those games. - 2 Been thanked

Just because you're a soft man doesn't mean I am. Just being real here.
Yeah, I’m really ‘soft’ — sure.
Funny how people love throwing that word around from 5,000 kilometers away, behind a keyboard.
That kind of talk usually comes from guys who’ve never had to measure themselves in real life.
It’s easy to label someone when there are no consequences — that’s textbook keyboard-warrior behavior.

JMO but Reeder was his typical awful in the first half. Never in position to make a play………
2nd half I thought he played better but we are talking about him. Watching replay will tell me more…….

I am glad they are staying out East, that would not be cool to send the boys back to Cali and then all the way back over the pond.
Yep. We typically don't play the Ravens well but I think our record in London is pretty good. The Jags are starting to hit their stride so they will be a handful. I was hoping they would do us a sold and beat Seattle. Unfortunately we will probably be without Nacua.
I think Puka plays
