October 11th, 2025, 2:51 pm Re: Colin on Goff - Stafford October 11th, 2025, 2:51 pm Re: Colin on Goff - Stafford
Glasgow worse than shelton ? WHAT ?????? Glasglow pass blocking grade is 73.1 by PFF ( 5 out of 49 centers ) , and Shelton pass blocking grade is 44.5 ( 38 out of 49 centers) . Shelton is plain horrible. Run blocking grade is better for Shelton but we are talking QB protection here , right ?
Shelton 65.7
Glasgow 60
Glasgow is the 29th ranked center.
Shelton is the 16th ranked center.
Again, I actually watch the games. That's why I told everyone here Jonah Jackson was a bum. When everyone thought he was good because he played on the Lions. Narratives and facts are two separate things.
No, no, no… you’re using the overall grade for both players, and Shelton has a better overall grade because of his run blocking. I’ll go with the pass-blocking grade and my eye test, because yes — I watch the Lions. You’re not the only one who does.
Shelton is terrible in pass protection — hence his awful score of 44. Glasgow is pretty good in pass protection — hence his 73.
The eye test tells me the same thing: Stafford deals with pressure up the middle all the time, while Goff does not. Sorry but regarding PASS PROTECTION for the QB , Glasgow is not just better but MUCH better than Shelton. Case closed . Don't care about run blocking or overall score , that is not what we are talking about here . Now , we can talk about the rest of the o line and compare them but center ? not a chance. Also , it is not too hard to come up with the stats for the o line rankings for the past 3 years . I wouldn't be surprised if Goff had a top 5 or top 10 o line every year while stafford maybe a bottom 5 , or bottom 10 lol .mcsnead is notorious for neglecting the offensive line.
Goff has become a great player, but every time people compare him to Stafford, the quality of the O-line needs to be a big part of the conversation. - 2 Been thanked

Very well put DelMar - mirrors my thoughts on things where you do not want to come off complaining about a W but the shocking delivery of a product that just does not seem “ buttoned up” in any facet of the game. It runs the entire gamut of bizarre play calls , execution, strange roles for players. Etc . . . And you just ask yourself why ? No team has a Pro Bowler at each position but a modicum of consistency should be expected after 6 games for a contending team. IMO the Rams are not true contenders but should battle to get a playoff spot & enter the turkey shoot known as the playoffs - but discussion on the strange flow of events of the entire operation is not crazy or a “ bitch “ session. - 2 Been thanked

October 14th, 2025, 8:30 am Re: 4-2.... I will take it October 14th, 2025, 8:30 am Re: 4-2.... I will take it
Saw this on another site:
Backup QB and you let Henry run for 250? Man, terrible. Letting a wounded offense score 43 is also unacceptable.
Where do I start on offense? Stafford went 3 for 27 with 2 ints and Kyren fumbled twice while only scoring 6 points on 2 for 15 FGs.
Oh wait, none of that happened but you'd swear it did by reading this board...sad really. Why would anyone want to post here with all the negativity on this board?
Couple of thoughts:
1. Rams won
2. Rams had the #2 offense coming into the game.
3. Stafford was leading the NFL in passing yards coming into the game, in his 16 previous years he has never finished the season as the yardage leader
4. Rams defense gave up 3 points
5. Rams won...by 2 TDs
6. Young had 2 more sacks and is on a massive tear
7. Verse is still a beast and destroyed that 4th and goal at the end of the 2nd quarter
8. Landman is everywhere
9. STs still suck (hey, even I can't sugar coat everything)
10. Kyren was spectacular today.
11. Davante is fine, how many PI calls called against him this year? That said, Stafford and Adams are just a tick off.
One last thing, this team is 4-2. They are fine, the offense is not completely clicking on all cylinders and are still the 2nd best offense in the league, the defense is built for a playoff back alley street fight. STs needs work, but there is time and if they stay healthy, they are a hard out for anyone.
Thank you for restoring sanity in here. - 2 Been thanked

Has he been ruled out yet? I don't see any activity about it, including inhere so there's that!

Over the years he has seemed to be a McVay/ Rams hater. Coach appeared on his show a few weeks ago, and since he’s been very very complementing of the Rams lately. It almost feels weird 🤣🤣.
I noticed it a few years ago - he took a shot on McVay whenever he could, calling him "Boy Genius" and "Wonderboy" in a sarcastic tone constantly. Even the power ranking comments each week were like a backhanded compliment.
I don't know what happened other than McVay sustaining success for now 8 seasons. At some point you just look dumb if you keep slamming the dude that is generally revered as a top 5 coach in the league. - 2 Been thanked

Shades of the Von Miller acquisition. He played a huge role in our SB win. I'm assuming TJ wants a title and if he wants to come here, he must think we're close. We we're 1 offensive play from the SB last year. He needs to make it worth our while AFAIC or it's a hard pass for me. - 2 Been thanked

July 12th, 2025, 6:52 am Re: Kyren Williams contract July 12th, 2025, 6:52 am Re: Kyren Williams contract
A few more reasons why I would not extend Kyren yet.
Rams running back coach on Hunter.
“Hunter brings a different skill set than that of Williams and Blake Corum, who are both physical runners who are better when running between the tackles. Hunter has excellent speed, as evidenced by his 4.44 in the 40-yard dash, and he was one of the most explosive running backs in the FBS last season.”
His 18.9% explosive play rate was second in the 2025 draft class, behind only R.J. Harvey – a second-round pick by the Broncos. His speed has already flashed in practice, according to Rams RBs coach Ron Gould, but he brings power to the table, too.
"His superpower is his speed. He's really fast," Gould told Wyatt Miller of TheRams.com. "And then the second thing is, if you get the pads on you, he's a heavier guy, he's a guy who can go north and south, and he's a guy who's gonna be able to come out of a lot of tackles." - 2 Been thanked

100%. You and a few others on here and reading yalls stuff for like, ever, made me finally join STLPDforum or whatever.
Man we had some good times on there. One time I said we should go after Jake Long, and I was scoffed at. Two months later he was a Ram. Couldn’t wait to bring that post back to life.
Ahhh, I remember that well. On the first day of free agency we were rumored to get Jake Long. I was in outside sales at the time and made sure I was working from home that day. I literally kept hitting the refresh button hoping we'd get Jake Long. We got him but nothing we did in those St. Louis days mattered because we sucked all the time. Based on what I have read and seen that wouldn't be a bad choice. But i'm going to go with Dolac. He is all heart and always around the ball. We all know Reeder sucks so why not try out a younger guy who is hungry. I don't think he would make it to the practice squad. - 2 Been thanked

If the Giants have another bad year they need to tear everything up from the top down. Giants let Barkley go to keep Jones. Then cut Jones bc they couldn't develop him and is now starting RW.
Giants have gone backwards ever since that playoff win years ago. Someone must be held accountable, and that someone wasnt Daniel Jones
It’s the owner. Good guy but has no clue how to delegate and get a solid GM and Coach.

Hell of a comeback today!
Just think, if Bradley redid the teams the second round, this could have been ours to win.
We also did good today because Harris English didn’t play. Dude is just not this level good.
Yea...that's a stupid rule....no way should the match be declared a tie if a player is injured....I think they should change that to one of the designated Vice Captains is an emergency fill in. They are all players themselves and should be ready to go only in the case of a withdrawl.
I think the Euro's should have lost the match to W/D

April 7th, 2025, 7:01 pm Rams Auction April 7th, 2025, 7:01 pm Rams Auction
For those of you who might be interested, go to the Rams website (therams.com), they have been running an auction on memorabilia with some pretty sweet deals. I picked up 3 autographed jerseys from Warner, Faulk and Donald for about $200 (total) that I am going to frame them and hang in my basement. They had some game worn pants that I really wanted for game day, but got outbid. - 2 Been thanked

October 4th, 2025, 7:48 am Re: Where do we go from here? Welp.... October 4th, 2025, 7:48 am Re: Where do we go from here? Welp....
Bench Kyren for a game to wake his ass up. Stop fucking fumbling. Run Corum the whole game, but definitely DON'T pitch to him or throw to him, period - dude has the worst hands I've ever seen on a RB. Put the entire starting O-line in on the FG unit, as a punishment and make them practice it for a whole fucking day or two over the next 10 days. Put Ferguson in the game, full stop.
KW has definitely put the rock on the ground more than he should....but on that play, it looked as though he had the ball tucked pretty darn good and that fumble was more of an excellent play by the defender and not so much as a careless play by KW
One thing I remember when playing and in 4th and inches or goal lines stances, is coaches could not emphasize more of holding the ball w two arms so tightly, you couldn’t slip a greased BB out of it.
If you look at the play again… he puts his left arm out to soften his landing as he knew he was going down. Also Should have never left his right arm out like that while holding the ball (not protecting). You keep it tucked w both arms till you hear the whistle.
Just my opinion here - 2 Been thanked

May 8th, 2025, 7:43 am Re: Eric Dickerson - Where would You Rate Him? May 8th, 2025, 7:43 am Re: Eric Dickerson - Where would You Rate Him?
I am probably one of the few that can add a fair, unbiased perspective to this discussion. ;-) I was not a Rams fan when Dickerson or Faulk were around...
Without naming every RB...I would say Dickerson is probably 7th/8th best all time? Definitely top 10. The interesting thing is that I would not put Faulk as high as Dickerson. No specific reason, just that Eric always seemed to have a bigger name, bigger impact than Faulk...from the outside looking in. Maybe because he was so much bigger/taller than most RBs and he was actually fun to watch.
It sounds like this thread should have been titled "Who was the best RB for the Rams?" 1/2 here seem to think Faulk, and the other half Dickerson.
As much as I love ED, my vote has to go with Faulk for best Rams RB of all time... at the end of the day we won nothing with Dickerson. - 2 Been thanked

Also other reason I’m glad we didn’t try and rush one down for a FG end of second half is our history this year. We’ve just made too many errors and mental mistakes.
I just don’t trust us, yet.
