We need to take an early lead and silence the 12th man crowd. Then we need to pound Darnold on eyery down.
Run the ball; Puka on slants.
Tutu for deep outs every quarter to keep them honest. TEs must catch the ball and protect Stafford.

I do question going for it due to the fact we were playing the Niners. But I think it tells you he has zero confidence in the kicking game which is beyond unacceptable. this is 2 games now they have lost due to ST's.....the blocking on kicks is awful...
but if you are going to go for it on 4th down you better have a better play than what he called last night
Do people really think we should have kicked a field goal to tie the game? No way. It's 4th and 1 in overtime with 5 minutes left where you played crap all night you need to go for it and win this game. Does anyone think ending the game in a tie would be better than going for it on 4th and 1? A tie sucks. Play to win. But call a better play, FFS. - 3 Been thanked

Sorry I cant. Thats twice in three weeks this team failed to execute when it mattered most.
Before I can get over it I need to know that the team have learned from it and I haven't seen it yet. Same mistakes are being made and no one is being held accountable. The holes on the team (secondary, Special Teams OL, rbs lack of hands and ball security) still hasn't been addressed. Soft D coverage returned this week and I dont know why? No explanation at all. - 3 Been thanked

December 19th, 2025, 8:57 am Re: We were Robbed December 19th, 2025, 8:57 am Re: We were Robbed
Whistle did in fact blow once the ball hit the ground, almost two seconds before Charbonnet picked it up. Everyone heard it, everyone stopped playing, everyone was lining up for the kick.
Apparently, there is a fumble rule where the play is allowed to continue even after the whistle. The rule is written to clarify possession of the ball after a whistle, while a dog pile scrum is still going on for the ball and refs are blowing their whistles to end the play. In the "immediate" action after the whistle, the ball can still be fought for and possession gained.
The interpretation was that the pass was a lateral, so when it hit the ground it was a fumble. If whistles are blowing, however, is Charbonnet picking up the ball two seconds later considered "immediate," or is the play dead? They ruled the former. Even if it's by the letter of the law, it still goes against everyone's basic understanding of how the game is played. Utter BS. - 3 Been thanked

October 15th, 2025, 8:07 pm Xavier Smith as a WR October 15th, 2025, 8:07 pm Xavier Smith as a WR
Has anybody else been waiting for Xavier Smith to reappear as a WR? He was crazy good in preseason and then had that amazing deep catch in game one. I’m not sure he’s been targeted since then. I think that will change this Sunday, especially if Nacua can’t play. It could be wild watching Atwell and Smith splitting up the Jacksonville defense. - 3 Been thanked

November 13th, 2025, 4:35 pm Re: Rams make SI cover November 13th, 2025, 4:35 pm Re: Rams make SI cover
Look at Hav on his back. Limmer didnt help, he just gets shoved to the side inti the backfield. Why is Dedich blocking grass?
So it is not all Kartys fault? Would Mevis had made the shot in the same circumstance?
The still only depicts the moment he kicked it bro, it doesn't show Karty slothing his way thru his mechanics leading up to kicking it!
Also looks like Karty shanked it? Check out where the Rams Holder Evans is. Right above him or straight looks like tons of room!
Or Karty's a curl kicker and not a straight one and the Eagles knew it and flooded his aim zone. Havy's going down and I count 5 Eagles and 3 Rams there. 1 other thing, there's no Eagle penetration of the line yet. Tells me he just didn't get it up high, fast enough! - 3 Been thanked

Niners aren’t a contender. Their run is over. Don’t care about their schedule. Their guys all fragile and they’re too top heavy. Rams now have the better roster.
Not sold on Seattle or AZ either. Darnold and washed Kupp is something to be afraid of? Never was a Kyler Murray fan. AZ defense could be good. - 3 Been thanked

September 21st, 2025, 2:39 pm Re: Rams @ Eagles Game Thread September 21st, 2025, 2:39 pm Re: Rams @ Eagles Game Thread
I'm willing to give the Eagles some of the credit. They're trying to win too.
Bottom line, it's week 3 and we just handed a game to the Champs in their barn that we outplayed them badly in. They know it too.
Sucks the way we lost but we weren't going to go 17-0 anyways. Every team loses games they should have won. See GB today @ Cleveland.
They had the go ahead FG blocked and the Browns won on a 55 yarder. The break went TB's way, they rescued themselves on a last second FG vs the lowly Jets @ in Tampa..
Rams Defense seemed to lose a step after the Halftime break and I wonder if they went into a more prevent mindset after the 26-7 TD.
You can never turn it back on after doing that and we only stopped them once after that.
Some iffy calls from Sean on 3rd and 1 and 3rd and 2, passing when we were gashing them all day.
Stopping the clock for them with incompletions when we should be running it and keeping it ticking.
But we wouldn't all be miserable and bitching if one of those plays would have worked.
Think back to the 3rd and 2 pass to Puka last week that salted the game away. Same play today but it didn't work.
Staff wasn't sharp all day either. Adams dropped what would have been the clincher and then the FG's blocked.
As for ST's, out side of the 2 blocks, they were having a great day before that. 4-4 on FG's and absolutely stuffed any return game from Philly KR's and their 1 PR. I thought the O-line actually had a solid game. Staff got sacked once for no yards and we moved the ball all day.
we only had 1 punt. So yeah there's enough blame to go around if you must blame someone or something.
1 play goes our way and we win and nobodies panicking about nothing. Not happy about the loss, sloppy 2nd half for sure but feel good about the team going forward.
I trust that Coach McVay and Staff will see to it what's needed will be done about the blocks and RZ deficiency and get us back on track.
Bring on the Colts. Lets take it out on them. GO RAMS! - 3 Been thanked

October 3rd, 2025, 9:32 am The Rams Defense – Soft, Predicable and Uninspired Under Chris Shula October 3rd, 2025, 9:32 am The Rams Defense – Soft, Predicable and Uninspired Under Chris Shula
Chris Shula’s promotion to the Los Angeles Rams’ defensive coordinator role in 2024 raised some eyebrows. As the grandson of legendary coach Don Shula and a long-time assistant under Sean McVay, Shula stepped into the void left by Raheem Morris, who departed to become head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. But two seasons into his tenure, with the Rams sitting at 3-2 but showing cracks, the narrative around Shula has shifted from promising understudy to a coordinator whose predictable schemes, lack of innovation, and subdued leadership are holding back a talented young defense.
Shula’s background is steeped in football royalty, but his path to the DC role feels more like a comfortable inheritance than a merit-based ascent. Joining the Rams in 2017 as a defensive assistant, he climbed the ranks through positions as linebackers coach and pass-rush coordinator, largely under Morris’s wing. Morris, known for his adaptable, soft ‘bend but don’t break” defenses, provided Shula with a blueprint. Yet, critics argue Shula has merely replicated a watered-down version of Morris’s system, leaning heavily on soft zone coverages that, as we witnessed last night, opponents exploit with ease. This understudy label isn’t a compliment—it’s a critique, suggesting Shula lacks the originality to evolve beyond his mentor’s shadow.

I'm naturally pulling for every 3 and 4 win team to keep Atlanta where they are or knock them down a slot. Washington probably has the best shot vs. NYG but other teams like AZ have no chance to beat Houston and Cleveland most likely won't beat Chicago. It all starts with Tampa winning. - 3 Been thanked

December 21st, 2025, 7:05 pm Re: McVay : “ I love it - love exactly where we are” December 21st, 2025, 7:05 pm Re: McVay : “ I love it - love exactly where we are”
Looking back at that game the enormous importance of the game seems almost unfair - we topple far down the seeding list and face nothing but adverse weather conditions as a result of this debacle- seems to me no words can spin it in a positive fashion- Even greater hi lol to climb without Dotsen
Almost unfair?
Really?.
Only thing unfair about all this is that we kept the ST’s the same w same coach and haven’t drafted more quality DB help. And that’s not even unfair, it’s just pure stupidly and ignorance (hoping and hoping those two groups would do better the ‘next’ game).
We knew the schedule and locations. Nothing unfair about it. That’s the way the cookie crumbled, especially teams who keep beating themselves. We’re actually lucky ST’s and our D secondary hasn’t blown more games imo.
To me, ST should barely EVER be a factor in winnings game (besides field goals of course) but my point is, ST should never be a factor because of such over all poor play. Our DB group is about the worst there is in many games.
So we put ourselves right where we are. Unfair or not. We are who WE are, as WE beat ourselves.
I honestly believe and have no doubt, if we made the proper adjustments early in dealing w ST and firing that coach earlier AND also making the proper adjustments on Defense before the trade deadline, we would be 15-0 or 14-1 right now, maybe 13-2 at the worst.
Think about everyone of our losses. EVERY LOSS came down to one of these two groups. Every single loss imo
Exactly. What really pisses me off is that we didn’t need much to be 14–1 right now. All that was needed was to fire that idiot in the offseason (or even at the beginning of this season). That alone would have given us a decent special teams unit, and then actively pursuing a solid CB before the trade deadline. That’s it. That’s all we needed.
Instead, they chose to stand still and keep insisting on the guys they already had. They chose to believe Forbes, Durant, and Akhello would improve. They chose to believe Chase would fix all the special teams issues.
Sometimes the truth is right in front of your face, but you choose to see it differently. People running a billion-dollar organization shouldn’t allow themselves to make mistakes like that. - 3 Been thanked

April 26th, 2025, 2:02 pm Trust The Process April 26th, 2025, 2:02 pm Trust The Process
I am pretty damn certain that McSnead and the entire scouting department knows a hellava lot more than I do.
Wasn’t happy with the Hunter pick. Snead targeted this guy.
Would rather see a big back who can move the pile. Rams seem to draft the same sort of RBs.
Henderson, Williams, Corum, and now Hunter. I am going to trust the Rams staff knows what they are doing. They have nailed it before, and the best indication of future success is past success.
I like Ferguson, seeing how he is big and the fastest TE in this class.
As for Josaiah Stewart, undersized… but as Bill Belichick once said “I don’t pay attention to the numbers or size all that much, I want guys who can play football”. Stewart seems to fit this mold.
Ty Hamilton seems for be a very good anchor for the middle.
Chris Paul Jr. was expected to go higher. Think we got a decent coverage guy here.
Again, I am going to trust the process and believe we had an excellent draft. - 3 Been thanked

he's a top 3 run stopping corner and a top 15 cover corner, who might play better with this pass rush. he would be the best and smartest cb on our team. now there is some significant douche factor but McVay has never allowed a player to ruin the culture and has a short trigger finger on that so I'm not worried.
