Not even that pissed off
First off. These Thurs night games are trash. Teams aren’t as prepared. Guys have more injuries. Rams had penalties that weren’t common. Shorter week of prep. Games really favor home teams that don’t travel. Seattle needed about 10 things to happen to win that game and they did. Seattle as a 1 seed doesn’t intimidate me. They’re ripe for a one and done. Same w SF who has 16 sacks on the year and no defense. Rams had almost 600 yards of offense today. Only team in the nfc that concerns me is Philly and they’ve been up and down.
Another thing, the division hasn’t been decided. Still a chance to win it and finish 1 or 2 seed. Also being the 5th seed gives us arguably the easiest team in round 1. NFC south.
Let’s see how next couple weeks play out.

Yes , once you come down from this loss and realize what's ahead. It's going to be okay.We have the best team in the n.F.L , we just need to pull our head of our ass and finish games.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 18th, 2025, 9:34 pm First off. Really a very flawed team in key important areas and now owner of an epic collapse equal to any in Ram history. WC route is not a very promising road to take to the SB and this FO must learn to value athletic, aggressive D talent if they wish to win another SB.

Re: Not even that pissed off
the problem is that our defense , I mean secondary is plain HORRIBLE . Our STs are also shit . Our punter is weak , our kicker keeps giving them great field position ( 35 ) by kicking inside the end zone . Not sure we can win it all with all those deficiencies .SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 18th, 2025, 9:34 pm First off. These Thurs night games are trash. Teams aren’t as prepared. Re: Not even that pissed off
But I agree , the hawks got lucky in 10 different ways....that fumble in the end zone recovered by luck , our missed FG ( MEvis never misses ) , stupid penalties on key moments ..etc..etc..

Blowing a 16 point lead in the fourth quarter against your division rival doesn't piss you off? Will losing on the road in the playoffs piss you off?

No It’s not. Rams are a better team than Seattle. Same w SF. And there’s a good chance we face them down line with more at stake.

Re: Not even that pissed off
I do agree with this . I still can't believe we lost thought , win the TO battle 3-0 , score 37 , stafford over 400 yards and puka over 180 , and we lose. This defense and St's players need to really think about their future because outside of a 3-4 guys on our defense , all the others might be out of the league soon enough. I sure hope they saved some money.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 18th, 2025, 10:01 pmNo It’s not. Rams are a better team than Seattle. Same w SF. Re: Not even that pissed off
How are we better than Seattle? We barely beat then the first time and lost to them this time. Darnold had poor games both times. What happens when he has an average game against us? We're not better than Seattle.

LOL , he does SUCK but it seems he doesn't need to play very well for them to beat us . THey almost beat us the first time and now , they did it ( with some help from the refs , but they did it )

Re: Not even that pissed off
I am only pissed because the same issues that have plagued us all year seem to rise up in big games.
Yes, there is blame to go around.
It always starts at the top.
It doesn’t seem McVay holds his staff accountable. We always hear what a fantastic job they do… which is bullshit.
Somehow,
People think we as observers don’t have the knowledge, insights, or intelligence. We do.. especially after watching football for over 50 years and playing organized sports for many years. Oh yes, I f…king get it.

Re: Not even that pissed off
It was a fluke loss mainly due to Seattle making a ton of mistakes and still winning. You could argue they were -3 in turnovers and 2 of those turnovers were in the red zone, and the other one was basically a pick 6.
I would not want to play them again because what happens if they actually play a clean game. They been -3 turnovers in both games and each one of them still ended up coming down to the wire.
I still don’t think Sam Darnold is winning a playoff game over Stafford, but he’s played like ass for 2 games and still made it close

Re: Not even that pissed off
ST and McVay conservative play calling in the 4th lost us this.
We should have put them away.
I still feel we will be the number 1 seed.

This will be a on going battle Seattle has struck gold with their coach. Him and McVay will battle year in and out.

Re: Not even that pissed off
I am so pissed off...but the problem is that I don't know exactly why. I guess I hate losing. I am sure the players and coaches in a worse mood than I will be the next couple of days.
I was screaming at the TV when we were up by 2 scores with 10ish mins left. DO NOT PLAY conservative...yet, that is what we did on the next 2 series.
1 less mistake (of many) would have won the game for us.
- Tackle on a punt return?
- pick up any ball that is laying on the ground (2pt conversion)
- missed FG
- Bad call on illegal man down field
We had plenty of chances to win and didn't. Better now than in the playoffs. I am going to be a grumpy bear for the next few days.

Most of their night was 3 explosive plays. Tough to rely on that on the regular.

I’m not even sure if it’s the loss I’m that pissed at … OR the fact of HOW we lost it.

To me I’m not concerned going on the road and playing whoever is in Rams way. Let’s not forget Lake will be back by playoffs and I think DB Rams got from Titans. Secondary will be improved soon. Division is still possible. Let’s see how this plays out. Rams losing sucks but they have played a tough schedule and have been battle tested which will pay off come playoffs

Re: Not even that pissed off
Exactly. Shouldn't really lose a game when our offense scores 37 points and has no turnovers. Our defense went into prevent mode. Even the announcers acknowledged it. When will we learn?
