Thurs implications
Rams win tomorrow, they win division with a win against Arizona. Even if they lose to Atl on Monday night. They’d be at least a 2 seed and a 1 with a single bears loss. They would have better common opponent record vs SF and 2-0 vs Seattle. 5-1 division record. Run table and they’d be the 1.
Lose tomorrow, SF and Sea control own destiny for 1 seed (puke). Also, the Rams won’t be able to win division if SF beats Indy and Chicago and Seattle beats Carolina (all 3 would have to happen before week 18). Winner of SF/Seattle week 18 would win division, Rams a WC.
If Rams lose tomorrow, Rams would need SF to lose 1 game at a minimum. Maybe someone can fill me in on this tiebreaker:
Rams are 13-4. Seattle is 13-4 (and eliminate SF from division week 18, lose to Carolina week 17). Rams and Seattle would both be 4-2 division. Both teams would have lost to Carolina, SF and each other. But Seattle would have lost to TB who we beat.
End of day golden w a W tomorrow and still a decent shot at division with an L.

Re: Thurs implications
Honestly, i dont see us losing this game. Only thing that scares me is that it might rain. If it does, take the ball out of Staffords hands and give the rock to Double Trouble in K-Will and Corum.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 17th, 2025, 10:24 am Rams win tomorrow, they win division with a win against Arizona. Excellent post. One of the posts I have to read a few times because it is so informative.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑December 17th, 2025, 10:24 am Rams win tomorrow, they win division with a win against Arizona. Re: Thurs implications
I got clarification.
If Rams lose, they can still win division by winning out (13-4) AND
1. Seattle beats SF and loses to Carolina (we own tiebreaker on Sea, SF 5 losses) OR
2. SF beats Seattle, but SF loses to either Bears or Indy (SF 5 losses, we would have tiebreaker over Seattle)
So we can beat Seattle in a tie breaker at 13-4. But not SF. Seattle has 2 road games to end season including SF.

Re: Thurs implications
That would be borderline insane if we end up as a wildcard but it's very possible. Anything less than a Super Bowl victory this season will be a failure. Yeah I said it. That's right, I said it. It had to be said so I said it.
