Some "noise" that Rams are pursuing Trevor Lawrence
I will believe this over the Rams drafting a QB in round #1. The latter will not happen under McVay.

Re: Some "noise" that Rams are pursuing Trevor Lawrence
Good point and I've said something similar. I really don't see McVay developing a guy from day one and he never has. I think it's a lot more likely he trades for another big name at QB who can thrive here. Not sure if it's Lawrence but it's likely to be a veteran. People always throw Joe Burrow's name out there but why would Cincinnati do that? I just hope it's not Kyler Murray because he sucks.EastBayRamsFan wrote: ↑December 5th, 2025, 3:06 pm I will believe this over the Rams drafting a QB in round #1. Well, if we see these two in cabo hanging out ‘all coincidentally of course’… then……..

That's Hollywood hair there.

Ah yes, my favorite lesbian QB. To me he's had a Jared Goff 'esq career so far. He has the tools. Im not sure why Duvall would even consider this, but if the price is good enough. Im in.

I agree something off about this guy. I agree with most why would McVay want to develop a guy only reasons is the money savings but the downside outweighs the upside.

There's no noise. Nowhere online does it say anything about the rams wabting Trevor Lawrence. Even a blind man can see that's not happening.

Re: Some "noise" that Rams are pursuing Trevor Lawrence
Baker Mayfield was toast... considered about washed up when we grabbed him (and NO ONE else wanted him).
Matt Stafford was overrated and washed many said (even in here when we nabbed him from the Lions)...
and I dont care what anyone says, McVay made Goff a complete Rock Star (until Goff hit the Super Bowl and crapped the bed).
McVay has a way to make QB's feel confident and get their mojo back... I think this could work, because I have watched Trevor for years and always thought he was on the cusp of being really good.
Lawrence is kind of like in the Justin Herbert category to me. Both great QB's, but I feel there is more potential. (And finally we are seeing more of this year w Herbert, because his new coach knows how to push the limits of potential)
Ill just say this, McVay can be the Quarterback whisperer... He demands excellence from his QB's... so to me, if we nab Trevor, I think we should trust Sean in seeing more than we have seen while he's been a Jag. Guy has incredible smarts, which is required to QB for the McVay offense. Also, has a phenomenal arm... So, I can see it.
Maybe Trevor's issue is that he just hasn't been w the right coach or team yet... hmmmm.
I am officially on the fence w this pic up. I would have to put this more in the 'Have to trust coach' area. (hope this isn't 'deflecting' on my part here again, Eastbay

Solid DelMar-I agree with you in spades. McVay will work with a proven commodity rather than a rookie which is a roll of the dice.DelMar wrote: ↑December 6th, 2025, 11:04 am Baker Mayfield was toast... considered about washed up when we grabbed him (and NO ONE else wanted him).

Re: Some "noise" that Rams are pursuing Trevor Lawrence
Id be all in favor of it. "If", there is any true "noise" to this story, its a given that MS has told headquarters that this is his last year. The downside for me would be they're still in that 50 mil QB range. Id love to have one on a rookie deal.
Ok Felix. You can ridicule my post in 3-2-1......

Re: Some "noise" that Rams are pursuing Trevor Lawrence
I don't have an issue with you. Its the people who always gotta call me some dumb ass name. If Stafford wins the Bowl, going out on top will be one hell of a way to go. Trevor Lawrence is a QB I have no interest in, because he isn't that good.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑December 6th, 2025, 12:04 pm Id be all in favor of it. Re: Some "noise" that Rams are pursuing Trevor Lawrence
Im wondering if TL's short comings have been him, or the sorry franchise he's been associated with since coming to the NFL. If the Rams were to trade for him, it means that SMcV blessed it and said he could win with him.FelixTheStonerCat wrote: ↑December 6th, 2025, 12:07 pmI don't have an issue with you. I do not like QBs with accuracy issues. Are they fixable? Maybe. With that said I doubt Lawrence becomes a ram.

Yall are loveable old assholes tho lol. I am going to keep things on track tho. I just don't see TL being a Ram, but if he does, I'll trust the decision. I just really can't see him fitting with this offense.TheTustinRam wrote: ↑December 6th, 2025, 1:40 pmYou should probably know that both Glendora and I are “old assholes”. Yep, I'm still all on board with Mcvay finding a QB in the 26 draft who will be next in line.

I'm on record...I would welcomer this depending on the cost. This is not an exciting QB class in my view and prefer to address O-line and CB with the first couple of picks.
QB's can find new life in other systems, I think it is time for TL to get out of FLA and moving to the other side of the country and a new conference will do him wonders
