Re: Jake is back
Bottom post of the previous page:
Disagree Here. What I've noticed is Karty's not always getting kicks up high enough, quick enough and at times looks lethargic going thru his kicking sequence. Now some of that could be attested to what's been mentioned here but some also has to be on Karty himself. He's no victim!
We see the Rams ARE trying to fix this bringing Jake back and some competition in for Karty. Hopefully it's remedied before it cost us more!

Re: Jake is back
I don’t know if Jake McQuaide will ever play. He’s 37 and might be more of a coach covering for Blackburn’s deficiencies. He’s a smart 37-yr-old with a degree in aerospace and aeronautical engineering. Or maybe he’ll play.
But it’s so cool that he was teammates with James Laurinaitis at Ohio State in 2006, and he was a St. Louis Ram in 2011.

Re: Jake is back
The dude was the Rams Long Snapper for 10 freaking years! And a 2 time Pro Bowler..Like the both of us have mentioned earlier he's probably going to be more of a coach and mentor to Alex..will he actually play in a game?..is he still in NFL shape?.who knows but I do think he can help work out some kinks in our Long Snappers game. Welcome back home..Go Jake..Go Rams!bigklein wrote: ↑November 6th, 2025, 8:20 pm I don’t know if Jake McQuaide will ever play.
