Why?

• Something is going on Rorys head and hes not right. He stated this yesterday.
• This course does not suit Bryson's style one bit. This is a very methodical course, in fact, I have seen the likes of Jim Furyk as a sleeper pick, mainly because this course suits his precision shots.
• Morikawa and Rahm are his two strongest guys, especially Rahm. He is the wild card in this bunch...
• Thomas has dropped off dramatically in past coupe of years. He did however win recently, but the field was slim of solid players.

Now yours...

• Scottie imo, in the pat 2 years has been the hottest streak EVER witnessed in Golf. Even over Woods 1999/2000 tow years. We have never seen what Scottie has done in the past 2 years before. The dude is fire.
• Lowry, this course fits him well. He will land in top 10 imo.
• Fleetwood, this is your worst pic, but he can still play well. He'll land in Top 25
• FInau - It really depends on how he his puts go, but hes always a safe bet. No way does he win this thing imo, but will def be top 15
• Xander, this is my sleeper pic to win this thing.

However....I don't see how you can call Xander a sleeper pick....the only people sleeping on Xander are non golfers or golf watchers....even my wife knows who Xander is....her favorite though is Morikawa

I just think Xander has been flying under the radar and hasn't been really looked at, as a winner here. So, I say sleeper pic..I am a big Xander fan, loved watching him in San Diego before he became famous. But, he needs to turn things around... +2 right now.

Totally get your point on Xander. I also think he has underperformed this year. Guy is a total stud, and by all I have heard a good dude off the course as well.

JJ has earned a nice living on tour by being able to keep the ball in play and if he has a hot putter can run in some good scores. I think he will be tough until Sunday when it all sinks in.

I didn't like Rory for this tourney....he played like crap last week and was missing his drives both ways. The driver wasn't his issue today it was his Irons and distance control.

Obviously Scottie is going to be tough....I really think I like this course for Morikawa. I think the strength of his game is Iron play and leaving the ball under the hole and Morikawa is great at hitting the ball in play off the tee and hitting sweet Irons. Hit putting sucks and that's why he doesn't win as much when the winning score is -20....but a winning score of E or -1 plays right into his hand.

I tell you who else I like....Aberg...that guys is a multiple Major winner that doesn't have a trophy yet IMO...this could be the week.

I'm looking at guys that are steady....Koepka could surprise. I don't see him dropping off

Last thing is they need to keep those damn push mowers locked in the shed...let that rough grow and cut the greens IMO. This is the US Open, if you want the trophy you need to be patient and take your medicine but limit the pain (JJ is really good at that...Rory, not so much)
