Shula is getting out coached. How isnt the back accounted for? Leaking the back out the backfield is the niners specialty.

Can someone explain why the D scheme is so wrong?

ST coach has to go. He has not made adjustments at all.

Sorry - totally disagree on KW - he is a weak small fumbler who cannot be counted on - there are other issues on this team for sure - but KW will never be a big time RB. Let’s add a DC who made Jones look like MaHomes tonite & defensive secondary that is very weak.

The last run as well he had a small crack to his right and he runs into the pile in front of him poor vision gets stuffed. he absolutely cost us the game.

Careful my friend - this will be considered sacrilegious.

In every organization, the “team” takes on the personality of their leader, there are times when McVay’s decision making is very questionable.
Shula to me looks inexperienced and reactive instead of having a well thought out game plan for the defense.
Ultimately, this game was lost by stupid ...

I like McVay but this loss beyond is unacceptable....he should get crucified for this one....49ers were missing half their O for christ sake

I think what really pissed off McVay tonight after was this was an embarrassing loss. all the 49er players that didn't play...huge ego that he has and it was downright a slap in the face. JMHO

When you have piss poor cornerbacks, you have to bring relentless pressure by blitzing from different angles and take your chances.
Shula doesn’t seem to have the balls to take measured risks.

Will the rookie RB, Hunter get some carries next week? Will the Rams call up cb AJ Green and/or Cam Lamkin?

Very good article. Shula must improve a lot otherwise it will be proved that this was a bad hire. A very bad one. Probably as bad as Morris. And this is on mcvay. I watch spagnoulo, fangio aggressive schemes and it looks totally different. Kc defense is always close to the LOS.

First two drives were everything underneath. Rams were totally unprepared. Niners had like 165 yards in two drives with no WRs. A joke.

I think this might be the worst Rams loss ever. It has to at least be in the top 5.
I thought the Super Bowl loss to the Pats was bad - being favored by 2 TDs. The cheating. But at least it was against a young Brady.
