On Cowherd today, Joel Klatt mentioned that the Rams like 3 guys - Hampton, Loveland, and Egbuka...said we would move up for Hampton.
Hampton reminds me of Eric Dickerson, only a bit more of a bruiser. I'm not sure how much draft capital it would take to move up to around #11 or wherever they feel ...

Maybe I am just old but do we really need all the dark hallways, dancing/running around, and over done lighting? It just seems a little much.

Like I said, build around our future QB this year, keep Stafford this year and draft our QB next year. He'll come into a solid situation. Improve the OL, add RB depth and some weapons and we're good to go.

I have mixed feelings on this. No doubt Ramsey would shore up the secondary, but, I would prefer to move on to the future and develop our own lockdown corner.
Plus, the cap implications would be huge.
What are your thoughts?


My thoughts exactly. He's not the same corner he was a few years ago ...

And don't forget that we can use that extra 1 to move up as well...or back....It will be a big deal next year. Less so if Rams Falcons are in the NFC Championship this year.

Colin Coward immediate response to the Rams' trade. He and the other host (Middlekauf) are shocked at how crazy the Falcons are. "Rams took them to the cleaners."

On the surface it looks terrible. You had various plug n play starters at high value positions like CB and even OT and you take a 3rd tight end. Just bad value here given what the team needs.

I don't not like our CB room and do not like our ILB room. Why do the Rams think that these positions do not need to be upgraded?

See...it was premonition when I didn't see them. It was a glitch in the Matrix. I knew it was coming. I am special!!

Here's the stat of the draft for you.. CP Jr. Had 665 snaps in pass coverage in his collegiate career.. No TD's allowed. Care to guess what role we are likely to find him in? For years this is where the Rams defense struggled.. Or since Littleton left and Barron couldn't play anymore..

For those who wondered why the Rams used a #46 pick on a TE, this answers it -- "the Rams had the fewest receiving yards in the NFL from their tight ends during the 2024 season."
