Jack Conklin, Jason Spriggs, Whitehair, Shell, Joe Haeg, Conner McGovern, Isaac Seumalo, Joe Thuney, Christian Westerman
I'd take Conklin or Spriggs over Stanley
my top rb's Derrick Henry and Dixon put up a show at the combine...

poplarbluffman,
..
Can you give us a little insight as to why - the players you listed are "winners".
I'm not being confrontational, just want to know why.
Please elaborate.

short times(3 cone, short shuttle) are huge for olineman, and sparq scores show power explosion...these kids had great combines...Mitch Morse likely moved up 2 rds based on his combine workout..went in the 2nd to KC
Spriggs and Conklin solidified themselves as solid #1 picks..think Conklin has the highest ceiling /floor of all OT's in this draft and might end up moving him ahead of Tunsil who has real character issues...think both Spriggs and Conklin are way better then then Stanley. Whitehair should go late 1 now at either center or guard after his workout..Whitehair is the real #1 center in this draft.
my write up on Isaac Seumalo before the combine 4th/6th Oregon st 6'4 303 33 arms swiss army knife player 37 career starts; 23 at center, nine at right guard, three at left tackle and two at right tackle 2X all academic strong at poa and very light on his feet long injury list but has starter ability at G or C..was my 15th top guard and likely 5th/7th rd pick. He made money yesterday
only thing combine doesn't test is hand punch..huge for all players but especially oline guys..Rams drafted Van Dyke in the 7th a couple years ago who had a great combine but awful punch. I use the measureables, wonderlic, film and hand punch for my rankings

Mayock commented about how Conklin executed the mirror drill, displaying the desired traits teams seek at LOT. Have been posting on another site about Conklin for some time. Would love to see him in a Rams uniform but highly doubt they go Oline once again? Do think they may of gone LOT the wrong draft year however, hope I am wrong and Grob shows this season but lots of these ?????
This class is rare indeed for positions of need all teams desire, LOT and qb.

on my site posted Conklin reminds me of a lt version of Dierdorf.
Greg Robinson had a 4.83 short shuttle and 7.8 3 cone..those are pure guard numbers..and it showed on the field. IMO Robinson has hof potential at guard and be at best be an average NFL LT
kid to watch is Isaiah Battle 6'6 312 with LT feet and 35 arms. IMO he would of been a #2 pick as a LT...either way Rams need to give their young olinemen another year
I have a thing for Doctson but think Treadwell will be their #1 pick.

Agree on Grob and OG traits and think Rams may of planned to keep him there until injuries forced situation. Reason Rams chose to sacrifice pick for Battle in supplemental draft. May allow him to compete as early as this season for nod at LOT? However unsure if off field issues wins out on this one??
Personally would of rather seen Rams use pick as part of package to get back into round for Conklin.
