Of course. I hope its Mac not Trey.
I think both are wrong turns. If they fell to them at #12, no worries.

All that capital for an Alabama QB surrounded by an allstar team and a D-II project?

Crazyness.

Can't wait to see what we do with the 57 pick. And that 88th pick, I lose sleep in anticipation.

if the 49ers take Jones the 4th pick for ATL could get wild. Teams will be calling them so they can move up to get Lance or Fields. I think the real fun of the draft starts then

Just no projects. And for god's sake, no more medical nightmares.

"If not for the medical issues, he's be a first rounder! This is great value!!"

Except he DOES have medical issues. And that's why he's still around at 88. It's not "great value". It's ridiculous.

Okay, I am going to predict Justin Fields to San Francisco. I really hope it is Mac Jones. Jones has an average/below average arm strength. Fields scares me more from a long term perspective. I know it goes against the media pick but Fields is a much better athlete and has a better skill set. I think Fields only question is his decision making ability.

It's shaping up to be an offensive draft early. Could be some nice prospects on Defense at 57. It's really starting to look like DB is the pick at 57 or a trade down.

if GB is going to trade AR they are going to ask for a lot more than that. At least 3 1's and JG...

Yeah I agree. He just has too much potential to be a dominant interior guy for years. If he slips into the 2nd round then could get interesting

In regards to center if Humphrey is gone I’d rather they go the route of Meyers or Meinerz.

Either Meyers or Meinerz would be a great addition to the LIne. Snead may think the can drop down into the 3rd and still be able to draft one.

I would think that would be the hope but most “experts” don’t think Meinerz gets out of the second round. We will see.

Agree.. apart from that will be a pretty non eventful first day for us.
Sure, but...

I have some mild routine historical NFL interest at the beginning of round one I suppose…but mainly want to see what our divisional opponents do (whiners foremost of course). Really for me though, round one will mostly be about targeting players I would want to see slide down to our pick at 57 (oh I know, we'll trade down regardless :D ). But get a look at players that you hope keep falling…

For me it's probably Jevon Holland, Elijah Molden, Creed Humphrey, Gregory Rousseau (falling but probably not to 57), Jabril Cox, Asante Samuel Jr., Jamin Davis, Quinn Meinerz etc.

For us at 57 - I'm going with one of the following:

Peyton Turner - edge
Rashad Weaver - edge
Patrick Johnson - edge
Creed Humphry - OL
Eric Stokes - CB
Josh Palmer - WR...yeah, I know - why draft a WR. Still, he could be worth the pick.
8-)

If Lance is the Niners pick it’s unlikely that they will move Garrappolo this season. Lance has a ton of upside but he will need some time and I doubt that they will throw him out there right away.
