The Stretch drive is what winning is all about. SEA gets a castrated opponent this week so they are likely to be tied with us provided we beat the Lions. Friggin SF just won't fade. Gonna be a blanket finish with the winner triumphing by a nose. Does anyone really feel confident we will beat SEA in the rain soaked state of Washington?

Just so you know, Seattle has to deal with the wet field and rainy conditions too! It's not like they play in it every home game... platitude much?

I hope our team is not looking past Detroit to Seattle. We need to win this weekend. (As fans, we can look as far in the future as we want.)

The game against the Lions is not a must win, but it is very important. On the other hand, it is a must win for Detroit so expect to see some crazy stuff from ole Dan Campbell this weekend. We need to show them who their daddy is this weekend.

Their coach Campbell sometimes has more 4th down gambles then punts in a game so our D being up for that is a bit of a concern for me. The Lions have lost some games to teams with D's that got those 4th down stops. They pretty much will have to outscore their D the rest of the way won't they? It's why they have so many 4th down gambles...
