Do you want to play the Niners in round 1 ?

If we silp to the 2nd seed and SF gets the 7th seed we would face them first. That is a real possibility. I think we would beat them because we are a better team but I hate division games and anything can happen. Plus, home field gets compromised by all the NorCal d-bags that live in SoCal.
My first choice in no, but eliminating them in LA and then winning the Super Bowl in their stadium would be a season for the ages.

Those divisional games always worry me no matter what the records are other than Arizona lol. But how freaking awesome would that be to eliminate them and win the Super Bowl in their stadium!!!!

As long as we don't self destruct again, I think we'd hand it to them this time. Their D is not the same w/o Bosa, Warner and a couple others.

We play who we play... and whoever that is, we earned that spot.
So if we want a first week bye, and home field through out... we have to earn that. Or if we fall to second or third, then we earned there as well.
All up to the Rams. Do they want to be the Rams who showed up to play Carolina OR do they want to be the Rams who played the Bucs?
Do I want to play San Francisco again, of course not, anytime its a rival game, its always an even line usually... BUT, if I had to choose between playing San Fran at home OVER heading to GB or Phly where we would freeze out nuts off and play like a warm weathered team... I choose 49ers at home.

if we can't play the San Francisco 49ers without Aiyuk, Bosa and Warner and beat them soundly, we have no business discussing Super Bowl aspirations

Would love to play Whiners in round 1. The second game was the better indicator. Rams destroyed them, and that was with the better QB playing (Jones > Purdy).

100% agree. The playoffs won't be easy no matter who we play. We have to beat some good teams if want a SB. Home game is always better than an away game.
Having said that, IF we lose, I prefer it NOT to be against SF. (We had some kind of consolation last year losing to Philly.) Let's beat them all.
