Rams did what they were suppose to do today. Unlike last week…….
Why McVay remains so damn stubborn at times to continue running the ball inside the RZ after driving the length of the field with mostly big run plays……..
McClendon is now Mevis IMO. He doesn’t get replaced……..
Nacua just enjoy………..
Run D was back today……..
What again was some saying about Corum in here just 2 weeks ago………..
How you allow the only 2 players on the other team that can beat you to continue making catches in the first half………
We saw the old ugly Witherspoon today. Not good………
JMO the only thing stopping this team other than the offense turning the ball over is this secondary. And the later can seriously end this season before the ultimate destination……….
Landman another game making plays……..
Next 2 weeks is the season in regards to #1 seed n first round bye. Just how you want it after 13 games. Rams control their own destiny……..

Rams back on track today. As dynamic as the passing offense was I think the Rams could have won the game today without a pass. The offensive line is getting on a roll and with the 13 groupings they are just smashing the ball up the field. Kyren and Blake both going off. Time to play some BULLY BALL NEXT SUNDAY AND BEYOND.

I want to jump in on your thread. I love how Corum and KW have improved, corrected errors, and excelled. It is all you can ask of a player. It is not the mistake, it is how you learn and improve.

I'm loving the running game right now and what they're doing. They've been flat out beastly as of late.

i agree with everything you said, especially about the secondary. With as deep as this team is, to see the secondary as a weakness is something we need to fix and improve on ASAP. Especially in the playoffs. This team has been a surprise this year. And I'm loving it.

Not one disagreement from me in the OP.
Well stated sir.
I will however add, this secondary is our Achilles heel. I sure hope we have a plan. Next 2 weeks, they will be heavily tested. And I mean, big time tested.

Fielding a heavily-running, ball-control offense would be the best way for the Rams to keep Jared Goff and his offensive teammates stuck on the sideline for most of next Sunday's matchup...

This is it : no more needs to be said as there is no other alternative available- Very poor secondary play will be our undoing and with no personnel moves that can be made - try and control the ball and hide our Achilles heel.

The schedule for the next 2 games is unfavorable for the Rams.
The Lions are getting more time to heal up and prepare for the Rams with the Lions playing on Thursday.
The Seahawks/Rams will both have a short week for their Thursday game but Seattle doesn’t have to travel for it. Seattle is home this Sunday vs Colts and stays home for the Rams.

I agree McClendon is playing the rams out of going for an OL in round 1.

Was surprised and glad to see Havs not in there. His time as a starter are over IMO. Next guy headed to the bench is Akelo.....Our only glaring weak spot. CB.

Some has been saying our secondary is a problem I agree to a point. Our DL has not getting sacks and especially lots of pressure on the qbs the last 4 weeks. Not sure why compared to first half of season. Again 1 sack and I didn't feel their QB was pushed off his spot slot.
It could be the constant way to beat the Rams throw short and quick it started with the first SF and we saw a lot of it in Carolina, and other games but we must combat this style. I do not think Detroit will play this way Goff will throw deeper with long evolving routes but his accuracy is way superior to most QBs we play.

To be clear I’m saying not this year by Havs when Havs is ready to return.
But yes his play probably may allow the Rams not to place a must first round pick on LT……..

Rams DL was not the issue yesterday. You can say they didn’t get sacks but they pressured him big time to where he was scrambling for his life a lot. Didn’t get pushed off his spot? How big is that spot according to you? The entire backfield sideline to sideline? You did watch the game………
Yesterday was a secondary in the first half who couldn’t cover anyone. Place the blame where it was………

Issue is Campbell hates getting ran on. He rather run blitz and force the qb to pass then allow a team to run on them and waste down the clock.

3rd string RB Ronnie Rivers had almost 50 yards too and all 3 avg'd over 5 yards a pop.
The Match-ups were very favorable for us yesterday and I doubt will be as 1 sided these remaining 4 games.
Lions rank 10th vs the run, Cards were 20th.
We'll have better luck passing against Detroits 19th ranked Pass D who just ruled OUT another starting S today,Kerry Joseph (3 INT's) and in the last week have also ruled OUT starting S Brian Branch, placed starting CB Terrion Arnold on IR and had a 3rd S Thomas Harper leave the Dallas game Thursday with a concussion.
