OBJ?

So, OBJ is available. A story on CBS has him listed as one of the teams he could join. He was a good teammate and seemed to click with Stafford and McVay. Assuming that he could pass a physical and would sign a team friendly deal would you sign him for the stretch run? Why or why not?

I think his time has passed. I am confident in our WR depth

I would take a look. Adams has been great in the red zone but his drops annoy me. Tutu should be back soon. So, would you rather have OBJ or TuTu for the stretch run?

You know, the more I think about this, the more I think if we could get him on the cheap and he can fill in at the 4th WR spot... why not.
My thinking is, OBJ requires attention. He maybe older, but he's a SMART WR and could take some of the heat off of Adams and Puka... I would not expect him to have big stats w us, he is what he is... Also, w Tutu out at times, and since we just do not use that much, maybe OBJ is the answer... we know Stafford would find OBJ... they had phenomenal chemistry together.
So thats my thinking.. if cheap, why not.. .great chemistry w Matt, he gets the McVay offense already and can take some attention away from Puka and Adams. This is a good signing if price is right. I saw do it, if he is HEALTHY.
Now let's go win a freaking SB.

Exactly what I’m thinking. Certainly he couldn’t play lots of snaps however, he is someone the defense would have to pay attention to and could be an interesting situational chess piece.

Ive actually had a second thought with this and now say yes. Bring him in. I agree with DM………..
Certainly I would run it by Stafford, Nacua, n Adams but if OBJ wants to be here and shows in a workout he can still contribute then yes. And as long as we don’t abandon the 3 TE sets and the $ is right.
Fact is the WR behind the top 2 have been JAG. Maybe no fault of theirs but they have. We can readdress the position after the season but now if he can help more than Atwell, Whittington, etc………….

OBJ has had a total 40 receptions the past 3 years. What makes you think hes someone defenses have to keep an eye on? I'd rather get Ferguson more involved. I think he'd create more separation than Odel.

F%#k no. We don't need that B.S. anymore. We have two much better receivers. His glory days are behind him and there is a reason he is a free agent.

Maybe do a 2 for 1 deal. Get both for the price of one…I mean they don’t have offers elsewhere do they? McVay loves receivers, so let’s roll…
Reason it may work, both WR’s want a chip, especially Cooks… they both know Sean and our offense. And since both don’t have other offers (that we know of), we could prob get both for pretty cheap.
Shoot, LA is enticing, the sun, beaches, Stafford as your QB, going to a team where McVay can make you look good again…
Now the issue is, who do cut or send down to PS?…

As of yesterday, the Rams do have an open spot on the 53 man roster.

I am so glad no one on this forum is actually in charge of any decisions my RAMS team makes. We'd be 2-8 and wearing black jerseys.
