While the Rams’ offense leaned on Matthew Stafford and Kyren Williams, it was the defense—particularly the linebacker corps—that turned the tide. Absent linebacker Omar Speights due to a high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers, the Rams turned to unheralded rookie Shaun Dolac. The undrafted free agent out of the University of Buffalo stepped into the breach and delivered a breakout performance that has Rams fans buzzing about his upside.
