Davante Adams Drop Rate

Davante Adams dropped at least two passes in the game against the Ravens, including one that was a potential touchdown. This has contributed to a drop rate of around 12-13 percent, which is his worst since 2015.

Your thoughts?

My thoughts?

Here is my take on Adams... I dont see the Rams keeping his contract in '26 if he keeps this up... $14M in dead cap is much cheaper than $28m Cap hit.

I dont know what Adams deal is, but I am just not a fan of what hes been doing this season. Man, this could be his last shot... and def last shot at this type of salary... so why not play balls out?

Is it mental? age?

There is no real excuse for a season pro like Adams to have this type of drop rate. None imo

Stafford throws a tougher ball to catch than Rodgers is my explanation for that. If you look at most of Stafford’s throws he throws it fast into tight windows. Some other QBs put more touch on the ball

The season is very early, guys will be singing a very different tune as the years go on.

I hope you and NorCal are correct here.

I think he's good, I think there's a major disconnect between him and Stafford I'm not sure who's at fault probably a little bit of both, I guarantee you he plays a lot better in the second half of the season as long as he's healthy

This^ other than I don’t think they have a disconnect. I think what we are seeing is two players, mind you veterans, that simply did not have much if any time together during camp because of we know why. And we have to ask how much is Stafford practicing during the week……..

Nacua? QB n him have been together how long……..

JMO 17 n 9 will be fine as season goes on………

It is very odd. Since I dont follow his career i would love to know how many drops per season he had and if he has had a problem in the past because this to me is completely inacceptable for a superstar HOF level wr. That deep over in the Ravens game was a perfect throw.

It has been a problem from time to time. But, he has also had some huge games during his career. I would hold off judgment.

He puts the same spin rate that Puka seems to handle and haul in just fine..so DA hands are only able to handle a pass that has touch on it?

Stafford made bums like Kenny Golladay and Eric Ebron look good, ok receivers like Marvin Johnson and Golden Tate look like stars, Kupp Puka and Megatron are in the record books, and now he throws a "too hard to catch" ball? WTF!
If you don't like him fine, but don't try to find silly reasons to put the blame on him!

When he misses Adams it's by a mile and it's 100% on him, but most of the balls Adams drops are totally catchable, Puka would probably catch 80% of thoses drops
