Without knowing how the draft will fall, at least someone has the right person in mind. and i'm not talking about Dart. Campbell, Barron a trade up for Warren should be the only 3 options in round 1. If they are all gone, or we can't find a trade partner then we should trade back into the second with a team who wants to move up for a QB and also gain another third rounder. Any way you look at it, we need to come out of this draft with a ILB, CB, TE, T, and QB prospect. I would also toss RB in there too. Depending on how much KW wants this year we would have the option to re-sign him or move on from him with Corum and a draft pick.

I would add Loveland and Simmons to that list... I can't see them going for Dart... if they go for a QB it will be for the best in class like they did with Goff.
I'm ok with them drafting back if non of those players are available.

I like the trade back option, but only if it's in the top 10 of rd 2.

Only 3 I see - Campbell, Barron and best RT not sure who that it is because I see a bunch of names.
I don't think this is a year there is a huge run on any one position because there aren't many QB options, of OLBs, or OL that will push players down the board. This draft is feels very even with several of every position. So the odds on the first or second best player at a position falling to us like a Campbell/Barron feels unlikely.
Trading back if none of the above are there I am okay with it but my mantra this draft is not quantity but quality.
Trading up only if Campbell or Barron or Johnson falls (don't see anyone else falling) are there and only 5-6 spots meaning trading one of our 3rds. I would not trade up for a RT nor Loveland both positions can be had later on draft especially TE Fanning Jr or Arroyo.

the more I think about it the more I think if Simmons is there I would love them to take him. McShay and multiple other people have stated if it wasn't for his injury he would have been a top 5 pick. It's been a yr and even if he doesn't start immediately this guy is a beast.

Cannot go wrong with a 10 year anchor at tackle. Not a "sexy" pick, but it's a winning pick.

And then I get flashbacks of Jayson Snith and Greg Robinson! Still have nightmares of those 2 guys.

But it’s not a need right now. We NEED ILB, CB and TE. The line can wait until next year.

Agree. But, if they're on the clock at 26 and a LT is by far the highest rated player on their board, I think you have to follow your board. It all depends on how the chips fall in front of them. The key is getting the best players possible on the roster.

they draft BPA not need IMO so if Simmons is their guy then I am ok with it. I agree though defense should be the focus
