What's "clear" about it? Why haven't every team done this???
Every team which experienced a 26-season interruption in maintaining its local fan base *has* done that... 8-)

Teams have all done a helmet design make-over such that to "clearly" win over young fans? interesting, I've not noticed that idiotic behavior...yeah let's blame the move. Why not change it all. LA Surf? Youth would "clearly" love it

Every team which has undergone a 26-season interruption of its local fan base has done that, yes, that's correct.
Whether changing the helmet horns was a good idea or not in order to attract young-adult fans, I have no idea. Personally, I wouldn't have done it, but of course I had no more input on that decision than did Taylor Swift or Kevin Demoff. However, I'm pretty certain that was indeed the team's logic behind all the uniform changes.
I'm not defending those decisions, merely explaining the reason for them. Fans are obviously free to dislike them, they're hardly my own personal preference, still I'm doubtful that fan antipathy is going to change much if anything.
Yet to quote Charlie Chan, "Unlikely events allow themselves the luxury of occurring..." :? :o

Just look at our division... seahawks and Cardinal rebranded.... btw: I like the Seahawks helmet but not their uni, overall like what cardinals did... the chargers rebrand seemed good on paper but in real life in the sun it looks amateurish.... again just my opinion and I'm sure a lot will disagree.

You don't fuck with the basics of the helmet logo. I believe Tampa Bay had their fans support when they did it some years ago. I'm not sure about Denver, but I'm not really a fan of their change (I have no idea about their fans approval).
But it's pretty much heresy in my view. Such as fairly recently when the Steelers wondered if fans would like the logo on both sides of the helmet, or stay with the traditional one side. They let their fans vote. And their fans said stick with tradition. That's how it's done. That's called caring about the fans.

Well said. These TJ Maxx versions of the Rams uniforms are mind boggling. I have been a fan since the 70s and the neutered helmet horn is such a turnoff. I know a poster said to adapt or die. One thing is dying. Rams tradition.
