Bottom post of the previous page:

Everyone is all over Karty. Stop. The dude was asked to kick a million times today in Phly. Get real

Coaching blew this game and also our lack of sucking in the red zone YET again. Special teams OL SUCKED today too

On one hand, that is an awful loss in context in that you shouldn’t lose any game you are up 26-7 in the 2nd half.

However, I’m actually encouraged that the Rams are on the Eagles level since it appears Barkley has fallen way off from last season. He’s had 3 games now and done very little. If he’s just an average player that lost a step then the Rams can certainly beat the Eagles. That knocks the Eagles down several notches.

I thought the Rams matched the Eagles physicality. I’m far more encouraged after this game than the first two which didn’t really say much.

Other Puka doing his stupid flexing, and Karty getting kicks blocked, I thought the Rams played pretty good. And Davante Adams certainly looks like he still has some juice.

Bad loss in context, but a good loss in terms of how good the team is and can be

We shouldn’t even had to attempt a kick if Shula hadn’t tucked is tail and went soft the entire second half.
He has been good. But, today he sucked ass!

I had a sick feeling in my gut when they settled for field goals on at least two of those drives, even with the 3rd qtr turnover. Then Hurts started converting 3rd and long, and wtf…

Yep that’s why it’s the worst beat in history.

How many games end on a FG block for a TD.

Rams up 26-7 in 3rd Q and are 3.5. That’s nearly impossible to lose.

If you bet the Rams to cover which I’m sure lot of people did that is one that makes you think God doesn’t want you to ever win. I’ve lost a few in basketball on last second heaves but that happens sometimes.

What we saw today never happens

This is the game they'll lament as the clocks winding down in the upcoming NFC Championship Game with the Rams in Victory Formation on 1st down...All part of the script.

This was our 3rd trip to Philly in less than a year. We'll get them in SOFI next year. No Mercy!

I can’t believe they had two blocking breakdowns in a row on FG

What kind of horseshit was that?

The long snapper never blocks anyone on kicks though. It’s the inside guys that have that responsibility

My thoughts EXACTLY. Totally agree ‘66.

I’m not that pissed at this loss. It’s a long season. Great learning experience. We went into Phly and proved we are a contender. Today was on the ST OL and Coaching. We will do better.

What took place in the 2nd half just can’t happen period. This is on everyone. Coaches n players. No words.

I have to admit, my confidence in this team has taken a huge hit. I trust no lead by this team, anymore. I dont even trust the fg unit no more.

What a horrible loss, a total collapse.

I haven’t trusted a special team play since 74

I'm not a ST expert by any means so I'm just asking. Could the rams had added another body to help inside? After getting the previous FG blocked you would have thought they would have put more attention there.

I don’t think the coaches thought the OL would do the same stupid mistake and not do their damn jobs.

What we just watched well my week 3 out of 17 may not apply I have to say. This one could be hard to shake for a while. As dominate as I’ve seen a team in the first half and then you completely collapse in all aspects of the game in the 2nd half. And against THE TEAM you can’t have such a collapse.

Next 2 games may define this season…….

Like Limmer blowing his blocking assignment twice one the last drive of the eagles.
If there is a chance to blow the same call twice, count on the rams.

This is why I worry every game. The defense remains strange when the opponent has 3rd and long, and the offense shifts from the run when it’s working well. This was a team loss, including some weak tackling on PHL wr’s leading to extra yardage, in the second half.

Truth and others, I disagree about the long snapper. His primary job is to snap the ball, but then he’s supposed to help block in some way. Ward looked like he dozed off. He took too long to lift his head. I don’t know if something similar happened on the first blocked FG. But the game shouldn’t have come down to this. It sure would be nice to see the Rams play strong all 4 qtrs and never let up.

LS needs to be unemployed by morning. That can’t happen in the NFL with what some said, and correctly, a FG that today is automatic.
