Bottom post of the previous page:

Ravens D is going to be a problem for them going forward if they don't do something about it.

Since they changed the OT rules, I don’t think going for 2 makes sense when you are down 8.

NFL really needs to adjust the rules to make onside kick easier. It would make the game more exciting

Ravens ran 6 plays for 65 yards and a TD in 1:13 and only used 1 TO. Doesn't get any softer than that. Stats galore for the losing team..
Gimme more $$$$ now! 55M a Year isn't enough!

Question, when the QB is in the Shotgun and tries to run but doesn't make it over the LOS, is that scored a Sack?
Lions Sacked Lamar 7 Times for 55 yards.

Lamar was holding the ball too long tonight.
Agreed. Only 6 incompletions all night and 1 of those was a spike near the end of the 1st half.
Not bad considering he was under a lot of pressure most of the night. You got to give him that.
Lamar's developed into quite the passer, especially from the Shotgun, imo!
Welcome back btw helly. Haven't seen you around much!

Makes no difference Goff vs rushing yards, that will vary by game, Goff made the clutch throw when he needed to, and the Lions scored TOUCHDOWNS, while the Rams kicked Field Goals. Lions win, Rams lose. The Lions won doing what the Rams SHOULD have done, they gave the ball to their backs who were being successful, Rams didn't.

Lions got their big win, Rams did not

Lamar is not only good now, he is productive, 3 more TD's which I think gives him 9 through the 3 games.

Goff's completion % takes a hit, especially with the late struggles. How often does a guy complete 71% and his percentage goes DOWN. In his defense, at least he's not throwing picks yet. You know he's going to have at least ONE three pick game at some point.

At the end of the day he got the only number that counts .. the W

Goff is a confusing QB in some ways. We all know he has limitations, but the Lions put a scheme around him that let's him be successful. Especially with two productive backs. Can't just pin your ears back and go after Goff all day. They use a lot of quick, shorter passes, and it's paying off for him. 72% completions percentage last year, was 80 through two games, but will take a hit after tonight, still he's completing passes which is the name of the game as a QB.

Goff certainly is not going to give you those long rainbow throws over the D for 60, 70 and 80 yards TD's every loves, but at this point their respective careers, I'd say Goff is the more consistent. You know he's going to have one or two knucklehead games every year, but that scheme is designed to his limitations and allows him to be successful in spite of them. There is no reason McV could not have done the same, other than ego. Would we have won a SB with Goff under the same sort of scheme the Lions installed, who knows. Did we not at some point have Ben Johnson here?

I agree. You can argue he has the best offensive personnel in the NFL

This is one aspect where Goff is better than Stafford. He keeps the chains moving. There's a reason why the Lions offense is consistently in the top of the league. Goff is plays like Manning. If the Lions can actually have a defense for once. Watch out.

Stafford is far more exciting. I've always said he's the better QB. Particularly at the time of the trade. But Goff has played better football over the last couple years.

😎

was not a fan of Goff when he was here but you can not argue he has been a success in Detroit...
