Agree. Him n #9 enjoying this too much…….
I was talking about 2027 (void year).. He will be here next year. My point was Rams may think ahead and draft a high WR (don't forget Tutu will be gone)
We are set very nicely in 2026:
-Havs, Higs, Tutu off the books so there is cap space to bring in quality FA
-Only immediate OL need apart from depth is C - can be had in rounds 2-4 or FA
-CB need in FA and 1st round.
2027 is a different story:
- Lots of players coming off rookie contracts
- Staff may be gone.
Rams have to think ahead as we have a very nice 2 year window in 2025 and 2026 (if Staff stays) but then may be cliff
so AJ and McClendon are playing well, for now, that doesn't mean they don't need to address the OT position. this has to be addressed in the offseason IMO

Well sure, they would need depth.. it just doesn't have to be with the 1st 3 picks any longer.

At the game on Sunday, when Stafford threw the ball to Adams, the entire stadium saw he was wide open, it seemed like the ball took forever to get there and it was a perfect pass. Then he dropped it….
He made up for it later… but, it seems you can almost count on him dropping a perfect pass every game.
I just hope it doesn’t cost us in the playoffs… or at Seattle.
TuTu will not be back with us next year. We do need a speedy WR, so I would not be opposed to drafting a WR with our second pick in the first round.

That is my one complaint with Adams .. he doesn't convert targets at a high rate .. that said 14 TD's is 14 TD's .. long as he keeps holding onto THOSE, I'll accept the drops
Nice to have Puka take over Kupp's % level in the 70's

Rob Who-enstien?
This was basically his stat at UGA. I don't think he ever gave up a single sack. (3 year starter and 2 national championships.) He is a solid player. I hope he continues the good work in the NFL.

I think there is a good chance we grab a WR. We need someone to compliment Puka. I think Adams will be back if Stafford is back but it would be good to groom someone. (Best available of WR, OL, DB). We need not only fast, but good route runner and decent size. You only get those guys in the 1st/2nd rounds.) (Puka is great, but he is no speedy gonzalas.)

Does Morris make it to end of season? I have heard both sides, keep him until end or fire after Tampa game.

Rams are drafting a CB on round 1. A good one. Would consider trading down and getting another 2nd or 3rd. Lot of options. Atl sucks.
Depending on who is there with Atlanta's pick I might trade down as well. If Caleb Downs is there I stick and pick for sure though. But if we can move down a little in the 1st and add a 2nd I might do that. The Rams have smart people looking at the depth of certain position groups and we have a history of drafting very well after the 1st round. Drafting 5 players in the first 3 rounds would add a lot of young, cheap talent to what is already a SB roster.
What if a QB drops to 32 and a team wants to jump back into the 1st round to get him? That's what Baltimore did for Lamar Jackson. Would you trade #32 for a 1st next year and 2nd this year? I suppose it depends on where in the 2nd and who the team is because I'd want next year's 1st to be high.

the QB scenario is real IMO. so many teams are desperate for a QB so anything can happen. I don't think Downs will be there and I do agree CB is in play with the 1st pick. The kid from LSU is legit, I hope they don't draft McCoy from Tenn because he didn't play all yr due to an ACL tear.

If we end up at #8 and teams ahead of us get silly with QB's, Downs could potentially be there. Of course nobody has a crystal ball and everybody has an opinion. Frankly, I don't know if he'll be there or not and I never in my wildest dreams thought Verse would be there. In fact I thought he'd go way up where Atlanta picked Penix.
This mock has 2 QB's going before us and we get Downs at #9

Haha. UGA has the same number of wins (2) in the Falcons stadium as the Falcons. Can’t make this crap up.
I just hope Morris doesn’t try to come back to LA.

ESPN did a thing on potential HC Positions that might become available between now and the off season and current Coordinators around the league that may be in line for a HC job. They did include Shula on a long list of potentials. He was mentioned but that's it, he wasn't featured like he was some kind of favorite to land somewhere. They even suggest that McDaniel, because of Miami's recent "resurgence" that has them back to 1 game below .500, would be staying on as the Dolphins HC.

Yep, Tampa fizzucked our draft pick. Can’t believe they blew a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter. Atlanta will win another game and maybe 2. The frustrating thing is there were a lot of 3-win teams that could have jumped Atlanta. Now we might not have a shot at Downs or Delane.

How the fuck is Tampa Bay blowing a 28-14 lead in the 4th quarter? No way that pick goes higher than 9. But will probably settle around 12. We need to best Atl and hopefully they lose at least once to saints or Arizona.

That would be one of the worst days of my life if we lost Shula and Raheem Morris came back to the Rams!! Our top 5 or 6 defense would be destroyed with his scheme and we would be back down in 25th to 28th area in less than half a season.

I heard on Sirius NFL that Cousins loves to play Tampa. In his last 3 games against them he's thrown for almost 1,200 yards. In his career against them he has like 18 TDs and one INT. He'd be a HOFer if he played Tampa every week. Just our luck

Tbf, falcons have a lot more talent than a 5-9 team. They were 8-9 last year. So big picture wise Rams have made out. But it was enticing to think top 5 pick. Falcons play 2 crappy teams so their strength of schedule will be weak which is first tiebreaker. I believe pick will be 12. Hopefully, AZ or Saints or both beat them.
