I personally think Karty is a better kicker than Mevis, with much higher upside. Not saying this was the wrong move. Something had to be done and Mevis has answered the bell. I just think Karty was a casualty of a much bigger issue with the piss poor ST operation. I don't think he'll make it to our PS. He'll find long term success somewhere.

Honestly, I dug more into it...and the reasons I thought I had (stats) don't really exist. Eyeball test early on said the ball just jumped off Karty's foot, similar Greg the Leg his rookie year. But they both had pretty identical college stats. So I will revise my opinion. Makes sense that you gotta go with the guy who is getting it done.

I think he's a quality starter. He's still young, and is actually sticky in coverage. He does get burned from time to time. I thought that the Panters ran the ball so much that Forbes got board and lost focus...and then got burnt.
I still think he'll get better and better.

Are the cards even playing for anything? Can't imagine they care much outside of the fact that players want a better next contract and need to perform for that, but collectively they are not fighting for anything. We should be much hungrier than them since we are fighting for the first seed and we are coming off a bad loss..

Durant absolutely flopped on that play. I thought I was watching the NBA.

Puka’s flexing is just retarded. Just play football. Don’t even give the refs a chance to call it.

Karty has had too many kicks blocked in his career to not conclude that his kick trajectory is too low even on short FGs.

The main thing I got out of this game is that the Eagles are several notches below what they were last season with Barkley having lost a step. Rams I think are a little better if Davante Adams can keep up his play.

It’s a stupid loss but if anything I think the Rams are closer to the Eagles this year than last year. We’ll see if some other NFC teams emerge like the Packers/Lions but the Rams certainly are right there with the Eagles

Truth i agree to extent on your takes. i thought it was enough of a push off but i see your point. The Puka being held was a Ref miss which was a big play. The miss Guard early move on the tush push was another ref issue to a degree.

To me the Puka call was absolute bullshit he wasnt taunting anyone directly. Ridiculous call by the Refs imo.

To me the Rams choked this game away and yes it will keep them hungry.

What i came away with is the Rams are a top 3 team imo in the NFL. The defense is very legit. Stafford and McVay need to stop forcing the ball to Devante. Did in the last 2 games enough already. Musy get others involved. Ferguson was a healthy scratch why? Higby has done zero basically in 3 games. Lets see what Ferguson and Davis can do. McVay must distribute the ball better to more wrs. Tutu doesnt get opportunities that is why he looks so bad. He was fine last year. Since Devante came to the Rams McVay has tunnel vision on our top two WRs. Devante is a really good wrs but is better imo when he is just part of a 4 TE/3 wr rotation instead of being force fed balls that are not open for him.

Why does Shula and McVay game plan to double Brown on obvious pass downs?

I thought I was doing better last ngt about this loss, YET, today I woke up w a loss hangover and I am actually more annoyed w it. I STILL cannot believe we gave the lead away like we did...

The second half was like all of us sitting there watching a train heading to its demise... we ALL knew the cliff was coming.... AND this was a slow burn to make it worse as the edge was about hour and half away... for 2 quarters we sat there yelling at our TV's to pressure the Eagles more, just like we did in first half... but for whatever reason, Shula THOUGHT the old Morris 'bend dont break' would limp us into a victory...

I mean we ALL literally sat that watching it in front of our eyes... Yet Shula kept doing the same damn thing. Absolute head scratcher. So of course our ST OL had to follow suit w even more garbage.

2nd half Rams yesterday was ABSOLUTE TRASH.

I don't like the idea of 2 rookie corners. We can draft 1 , and the other one needs to be a VET , we can either trade for one or just sign one that will be a FA . But YES , the truth is we need CB1 and CB2 . Forbes / Akhelo / D will are not good to be starters . These guys need to be depth only .

He’s a 50 mil dollar cap hit. I think the Rams shitty red zone play is a lot on him. He really wasn’t good last year for large portions of season. He did well in the playoffs. He was totally pedestrian today and had good RB play and decent protection. Is Jimmy G at a 2 mil cap hit that different? Sure. Prob still

I can agree on the "wait til year 3" to a point. Guys do mature- like McClendon. But some of the higher picks like TF should be contributing more IMO- especially when his competition is Allen/Parky. Higs always hurt, so doesn't count. But Look at Loveland/Warren. Helping their teams more. Kincaid was sort of like this - didn't do too much, but now he's big time. Hoping that TF comes into his own sooner rather than year 2.5/3. Maybe he's just not grasping the plays. Not happy that Parky is outperforming this guy. I'm happy for the team of course- but he should be better. Again- maybe he's just a slow learner.

I'll give him a pass in year 1. TE is a tough position to learn. With that being said, I still think we could have used a CB in round 2. Perhaps Will Johnson, Benjamin Morrison, or Trey Amos would have been positioned to take over as a starter next year.


Definitely alot to learn in Mcvay offense, especially when you wasn't a polished product in tbe draft.

I read that Mcvay TE must learn multiple positions, TE, Slot WR and Fullback/HBack. Which makes sense, knowing Mcvay is running lots of 13 personnel. So the TEs are filling in for the other positions. For example, instead of a slot wr, Rams are using a TE to line up in the slot wr spot. Which in Mcvay offense has it own complications. That along with all the TE spots and blocking assignments that goes with being a TE. Mcvay also likes to move a TE to the backfield (FB/HB) spot.

Please don't pay $100 to park at the Stadium. The best option that I used when I was a season ticket holder:

-I took Metro Rail for Rams and Chargers Games. Big plus there are many Ram fans on the Green Line going to the game.

Drive from Alhambra and connect anywhere, driving from East LA to the Metro C (Green) or K (red) Line (The Metro Train) and park for free at train station.

Exit LAX/Metro Transit Center Station (from the train with the other fans).
Take the free SoFi Stadium shuttle, which boards at Bus Bay 8 and takes you right to SoFI.

-Return shuttle service starts at the beginning of the 4th quarter and continues for 90 minutes after the game

Rams QB simply can’t move anymore and the RT is about done. The center isn’t very good either. But………

The D is really good. Perfect? No but really good. And the offense has arguably the best WR in the game and some playmakers. This team has been in all for games and is 3-1. The record they should probably have right now.

Again if this league was a perfect science……….Some will never see such…………..

If that was the Lion's backup CBs playing, they were still way better than our starters. I don't get it. Yes Stafford still scored, but those throws and catches were amazing in tight coverage. Not like the wide open 20 and 30 yard passes Goff was making. Just so bad, they look lost when the QB can have time to get into that mid/deep area. They gotta fix it with who we have. Blitz all day? Just have to get to the QB if this is our secondary. And no- Akello is not better.

he seems faster than any of the guys we have . Higs and PArkison looks like they run in slow motion . It is infuriating. Allen is a bit faster but still pretty damn slow . Ferguson has speed.

It was a good play. Defense wasn't expecting it and 1 yard plays don't always work either. Adams was wide open until he pulled up lame. Defense is protecting the 1 yard. Nothing wrong with the play other than execution.


Nobody doubts the surprise aspect to it but the % is still 25% chance for success. We are trying to keep the chains moving and that's it run it or short pass increase our odds of success.

Lions D knew that, that's why they took away the 1st and 2nd read at the first down sticks

Last thing I want to see is Stafford force a ball into coverage. He went to his 3rd read, Adams, who was open. I dont see the problem.

Lions play D different then the Rams. On 3rd and short the Lions play up on the receivers to take away the short passes and make you throw deep.

Rams on third and short, plays off the wr, and hope the defender can get to the receiver and make the play short of the sticks

Shula coaching performance since the 1st half of the eagles game been suspect. Mcvay had to learn once again, let Stafford cook, dont trust KY or Corum when Stafford is on fire.
