October 27th, 2025, 2:47 pm Re: Rams Trade October 27th, 2025, 2:47 pm Re: Rams Trade
First it’s an expiring rookie contract that Tennessee is more interested in getting any pick than moving into a second contract with him. I suspect more of this from Tennessee………..
Second so many of these trades is a staff seeing a player and saying he fits well with our scheme and we think we can get him to play well in it at a low cost. See Forbes. And if they do resign him he won’t cost a lot…………
I wouldn’t be surprised if this our DB trade when trade deadline passes. JMO this team is not going to trade future high picks for anyone in this trade deadline. The value of having them has been quite obvious the last few years…………..
^ All of this.
• Rams love guys on last of their contracts years... play well for minimum dollars, earn a roster spot maybe next season, if not... thanks for being a Ram for a few months. (low risk, potential high reward, which we have done for years)
And McVay said an hour ago that they feel he fits into what they do defensively and they have liked him as far back as his college days at Auburn………
This stuff isn’t hard to figure out, see why…….
I like the video I have seen on him. And like cornell stated he looks like a good tackler…….. - 3 Been thanked

July 24th, 2025, 7:17 pm Rewatching the Rams Philly playoff game we beat ourselves July 24th, 2025, 7:17 pm Rewatching the Rams Philly playoff game we beat ourselves
Kyren Williams fumbled twice. The first one was a combo fault of him and Stafford on a bad handoff netting only a FG.
2 tipped up in the air plays in the first half (Rozeboom & Witherspoon) Rams couldn't make the int.
The second one Kyren fumbled by a punch out by Jalen Carter then Philly recovered and ran it back a bunch of yards netting a FG should have been a TD but Lane Johnson false started which killed the drive. Huge mistake.
Philly had a 3rd and 14 on their own 5 and they got huge play keeping the drive alive. Rams would have gotten the ball back.
Rams had a 3rd and 4 and Puka dropped a perfect pass to the sidelines really easy catch. Another massive mistake.
Stafford fumbling in the 4th quarter Philly recovered.
4th and 4 - Philly completed the pass netting a FG.
Robinson dropping a deep over easy catch. But he had a really good game.
Xavier Smith not fielding the punt netting an extra 12 yards loss. Huge mistake this was before the Rams last drive with 2minutes to go.
Dotson false start at the end. Worsed time ever to have that penalty.
Then Limmer being left alone on an island against Jalen Carter with no help causing a huge sack on Stafford and the game. Honestly this is on McVay bc he needed Kyren to stay in and help in the most crucial situational play absolutely stupid call on McVays part. The game and ouncers even stated in the 3rd quarter when Rams don't double Carter they have issues.
Bad tackling in the first half before the snow netting a TD by Hurts and various other plays netting lots of extra yards. 2 long TDs by Barkley bad scheme and bad tackling.
Tough loss if we limited these mistakes we would have won the game most likely.
My takeaway the defensive Line was amazing and Fiske was out after part way through the 2nd quarter. Safety, tons of sacks huge sack on Philly's last drive giving the Rams a chance to win the game.
ILBs were terrible poor tackling out of position and couldn't get to the sidelines to stop plays.
Stafford held the ball too long in a lot of plays.
Evans & Karty were great.
The biggest takeaway was the OL they were really sub par especially when Kyren flared out to the right why - he wasn't the target why wasn't he in on this play to block? McVay needed to keep Kyren in more and TE needs to chip on Havensteins man. This issue is going to happen potentially again this season. If we want to go to a SB we need to be more conservative on long developing pass downs or crucial plays or we need to win the 1st seed to stay in warm weather situation with great footing.
As you can see we had a ton of stupid mistakes. If we eliminated just half of them it may of netted us the game and we almost won anyway. - 3 Been thanked

November 10th, 2025, 12:42 pm Re: McVay : Great O adjustments November 10th, 2025, 12:42 pm Re: McVay : Great O adjustments
The crazy part...
I think this offense is just getting started...
Never have I seen Stafford and this offense so electric, and the astounding part to me, is they seem to be getting better every game. Limiting mistakes, and just like in years past, our OL was a bit shaky to start, but now... they have it figured out and the guys in the right spots.
Sean and Matt are on a level that no one can really understand... the calls coming in, only a very select few QB's could do, but Sean is like a mad scientist, looking at his creation of X's and O's and looking at a QB and Offense who gets it and can actually do it (not like a deer in the headlights from past QB's, sorry Goff moms)... ,I am sure somme plays maybe even shocks Sean himself from time to time. The no look passes, Sean is like a kid in the candy story watching what Matt and this entire O is doing.
There is a special connection in the offense right now like I have never seen before. Last season it got close, but this is a different level. To Williams now being able to hold onto the Rock, the continuity in the OL, Matt trusting his WR's to be where they are supposed to be, so much so, Matt can even throw in some razzle dazzle to confuse defenders that much more... its actually hilarious and awesome all at the same time.
right now, its like watching men vs the boys when our O takes the field.
Colin on the Herd just now is losing his marbles saying the Rams are now hands down the best team in the league... Rams are on a burner like we saw last year, except this year's offense is a whole new level... and I have to agree w Colin.
I've always been big on Stafford as a Ram. His effectiveness imo has been directly tied to his O-line...and right now the O-line is playing really well (run/pass block). Lord knows Stafford has a ton of weapons around him this year as well. Rams 13 personnel is almost unstoppable, so of course we're seeing it a lot . Playbook is wide open and Stafford is obviously elite.
The whiner pass rush is not good tho, so the SEA defense will be the test. I've had them as way more of a challenge than the whiners for most the season. Both SEA and Rams could easily be undefeated at this point. This game should be a monster. - 3 Been thanked

I'm not sure I can handle a season if it will be like this. The GSOT would have won this game by at least 2 touchdowns. SB rams would have won by at least 2 touchdowns. If we are gonna be a contender- you don't blow games like this. I can't watch. I hope they fix things and get more guys involved in pass game (tight ends???!!!). And don't be stupid and run what works. We were running all over them. Run, Run, then dink and dunk. Move the chains. Game over. Stop trying to score highlight reels. Winning makes the highlight reel. - 3 Been thanked

What’s the moral of this post? Things don’t bring happiness.. the more “things” you have, the more you have to manage and take care of, that includes the people you hire to take care of things. Money is great… gives you freedom, and freedom offers choices. But, buying a huge house, a 300k car or cars… a Rolex… makes you a target. Live simply, lay low 👊🫵🎯 - 2 Been thanked

December 18th, 2025, 9:45 pm Re: Not even that pissed off December 18th, 2025, 9:45 pm Re: Not even that pissed off
First off. These Thurs night games are trash. Teams aren’t as prepared. Guys have more injuries. Rams had penalties that weren’t common. Shorter week of prep. Games really favor home teams that don’t travel. Seattle needed about 10 things to happen to win that game and they did. Seattle as a 1 seed doesn’t intimidate me. They’re ripe for a one and done. Same w SF who has 16 sacks on the year and no defense. Rams had almost 600 yards of offense today. Only team in the nfc that concerns me is Philly and they’ve been up and down.
Another thing, the division hasn’t been decided. Still a chance to win it and finish 1 or 2 seed. Also being the 5th seed gives us arguably the easiest team in round 1. NFC south.
Let’s see how next couple weeks play out.
the problem is that our defense , I mean secondary is plain HORRIBLE . Our STs are also shit . Our punter is weak , our kicker keeps giving them great field position ( 35 ) by kicking inside the end zone . Not sure we can win it all with all those deficiencies . - 2 Been thanked

April 26th, 2025, 10:58 am Re: WTF are the Rams doing this draft? April 26th, 2025, 10:58 am Re: WTF are the Rams doing this draft?
So, for weeks leading up to the draft, the concensus here was that the Rams need to follow their board. Apparently doing just that. Do we trust them or not?
We almost wanted a LB or CB who could improve the defense. What do you do if you look at the players available, and say, "this guy isn't as good as the guy we've got now"? Do you draft him, just because fans want a LB? Or CB?
Drafting the position of need doesn't make you better, unless the player is better.
I agree that they can't commit top RB money to KW. This might be the reason for this pick.
In all honesty, I think the trade of #26 threw a wrench in everything. Lost 20 slots in that move, and lost a 3rd rounder. If you like that trade, you gotta bite the bullet and reap the rewards next year, but it obviously greatly impacted this year's quality of picks. - 2 Been thanked

he is so underrated, when he played for the Rams, the passing game was so horrible. It can't be understated.
Dickerson was a great receiver. He was able to take it to the house with ease, he was good on the goal line, he was a power runner and a finesse runner. From a talent perspective only Barry Sanders was better than him. - 2 Been thanked

May 9th, 2025, 9:42 am Rams’ Biggest Concern for 2025: The Health of Their Offensive Line May 9th, 2025, 9:42 am Rams’ Biggest Concern for 2025: The Health of Their Offensive Line
As the Rams gear up for the 2025 NFL season, fresh off an NFC West title and a disappointing playoff loss to the Eagles, the team is well-positioned to remain competitive in the NFC West. With head coach McVay, quarterback Matthew Stafford, and the signing of Devante Adams, the offense appears to be solid. However, one critical concern overshadows their prospects: the health of their offensive line. Despite re-signing left tackle Alaric Jackson and bringing back Coleman Shelton, the unit’s injury history, limited depth, and the physical toll of the position make its health the Rams’ most pressing issue. Many of us were hoping the Rams addressed the offensive line in the 2025 NFL draft. Instead, the Rams traded out of the first round and selected Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson with the 46th pick..
Let's dive into the Rams' offensive line, analyzing past performance, current challenges, and the team’s efforts to address the issue.

May 24th, 2025, 9:52 am Linebacker Nate Landman -The Run Stuffer The Rams Have Lacked? May 24th, 2025, 9:52 am Linebacker Nate Landman -The Run Stuffer The Rams Have Lacked?
The Los Angeles Rams’ linebacker corps has long been a revolving door of undervalued talent, with the team opting for cost-effective, high-effort players over splashy, high-priced stars. In March 2025, the Rams continued this trend by signing Nate Landman, a 26-year-old inside linebacker, to a one-year, $1.1 million veteran minimum contract—a low-risk move with potential for high reward. Landman, a former undrafted free agent from the Atlanta Falcons, brings a unique story, relentless physicality, and a skill set that could solidify the Rams’ run defense in the 2025 season.

I wanted to acknowledge (if that is the right word) Johnny Micheal Spann. He was the first American killed in action during war on terror. I don't know why I remember him, but I do remember the chaos he was involved in after the Americans which there were few captured 100s of Taliban and were trying to disarm them. One of the Taliban had a grenade and killed himself and Spann. These American were so brave and courageous. Just wanted to add one more name that has always been with me.
The first American killed in the War in Afghanistan was Johnny Micheal Spann, a 32-year-old CIA paramilitary officer. He died on November 25, 2001, during a prisoner uprising at Qala-i-Jangi, a fort near Mazar-e Sharif, according to multiple news sources. He was part of Team Alpha, one of the first US groups to operate behind enemy lines in Afghanistan.

I saw an article on all the guys they drafted with picks they would have given up for McCaffrey.
Steve Avila
Byron Young
Kobie Turner
Puka Nacua
Also, it paved the way for Kyren Williams to be our Pro Bowl running back. The Brian Burns trade would have been even more devastating.
