November 3rd, 2025, 12:22 pm Re: No one is being held accountable for Special Teams November 3rd, 2025, 12:22 pm Re: No one is being held accountable for Special Teams
I took some time this morning and watched film on Karty and the kicking operation. Karty is making a huge mistake; he is trying to aim his kicks away from the weak spots and the oncoming rushers.
BIG MISTAKE. That is not his job. He needs to simply focus on his job - aim, head down, boom the kick high.
The others need to take care of their assignments!
His head must be spinning trying to tweak these kicks. - 3 Been thanked

September 8th, 2025, 9:56 pm Re: Are the 49ers in trouble? September 8th, 2025, 9:56 pm Re: Are the 49ers in trouble?
9ers have the benefit of that last place sched. The 3 games based on division finish the previous year really favor them.
We go to Baltimore, they Cleveland. We go Philly, they the Giants. We host Detroit, they the Bears.
Then there's the fact we have to go to England to play the Jags, SF hosts the Jags @ Levi.
The remaining non divisional games are against the 2 South Divisions, that finished 7th and 8th in Division winning % last year.
The sched appears soft enough they may be able to hang around until they get healthy later in the year. Unless there's serious improvement in those 2 weak divisions by multiple teams. The Cards didn't look great beating the Saints yesterday either, but like the 9ers they won on the road. The Hags might be the ones in trouble. - 3 Been thanked

We had great seats, literally about 100ft from the field at midfield. I was able to focus on Forbes easily. What I noticed. He can stick with his guy man to man or while playing zone. But, it is OBVIOUS that he lacks the physicality to make the receiver fight for the ball or tackle. I noticed he was easily knocked away when trying to defend a pass. No, he WILL not get better. It’s not coaching or anything else other than his small frame; his physical limitations. - 3 Been thanked

It's dumb to blame Karty for the line not blocking. He may not be great but he's good enough. If you're going to blame anyone in this game you should blame Stafford. He missed a wide open Adams at least twice in this game. One time was a sure touchdown. I'm surprised at how well they played the first half. For some reason McVay just can't get the red zone figured out. - 3 Been thanked

May 26th, 2025, 7:22 am Re: The PERFECT trade package for Jalen Ramsey - NOT! May 26th, 2025, 7:22 am Re: The PERFECT trade package for Jalen Ramsey - NOT!
I have been reading a lot of negative stuff with regards to Jalen returning...and most of it is warranted. I have a slightly different take
1) JR is better than any DB currently on the roster, even if he has slowed just a touch
2) JR is a head case and even worse when he isn't happy (Miami) but he shown he loves McV and would welcome his escape from Miami making him a rejuvenated Ramsey...and a rejuvenated Ramsey is a force
3) Of course, what the Rams give up to get him will come into play...certainly don't want to give the fsrm away with regards to picks
4) Last of all cost...I, nor anyone of our armchair GM's (myself included) are capologists...the Rams have a damn good one in Pastoors and if he syays he's got it covered then that's good enough for me. - 3 Been thanked

November 8th, 2025, 1:15 pm Re: can McVay out coach Shanny this week November 8th, 2025, 1:15 pm Re: can McVay out coach Shanny this week
Uh, the 49ers run is over. Don't you feel the vibe? Rams win this game in a decisive fashion. The Rams are rising. Rams win by 10+!
Well, I rarely feel 'vibes' about any particular matchup for the Rams.
I do know history though, such as usually-reliable PK Frank Corral falling apart (missing four out of five FG attempts) during a 17-20 loss to the 49ers back in 1981.
Of course that shouldn't affect the outcome of tomorrow's game, yet sometimes I can't help focusing on it. Also, our team's 6-2 record looks fairly impressive, yet it includes only one victory over a top-notch team (Colts) and a loss to the semi-crippled 49ers a month ago.
Should the Good Guys end up at 8-2 in ten days, having posted divisional wins over the 49ers and Seahawks, then I'll be considerably more impressed... :-o

kicking myself for not betting the second half.
Biggest change from last season I’m noticing right away… last season it took us 5-6 games to start to get our groove going.
Now this season, it’s just taking till the half of each game to gel.
So, we’re def on the right track… BUT, we need to pick it up next week and not wait till the 3rd qtr, as the Eagles ain’t no B team. Their defense looks even tougher this season than last. - 3 Been thanked

Seattle gifted the Rams 3 turnovers.
If you are +3 in turnovers and still lose, it’s thru 100% your own fault.
Don’t wanna hear about ref bitching. The Rams have gotten the most favorable whistle in the league thru having their fewest penalties till last night.
Blaming the refs when you blow a 30-14 lead is lame. I sure hope the team doesn’t have that attitude - 3 Been thanked

April 26th, 2025, 10:04 am WTF are the Rams doing this draft? April 26th, 2025, 10:04 am WTF are the Rams doing this draft?
Why are we taking a 3rd RB in the 4th? How many carriers is this guy getting behind Corum and Kyren. Stupid pick.
No BU Tackle, no CB, no ILB all way more needs.
Ferguson was rated a 3rd or 4th rounder feels similar to the Tutu draft season.
You all can't tell me that Speights, Landman and Reeder give you any confidence? Same for an elevated CB room (maybe we pry Ramsey Alexander away but at what cost)? We need a solid back up Tackle maybe we have in the management eyes but these pick seem odd.
We needed a TE and OLB to replace Hoecht so those picks from a need sense are okay but how are we stopping Saquon if we get to the championship game again? I will say it to I am blue in the face this team has a blind spot(Achilles heel for ILBs we need fast sideline to sideline LBs to top the RVs wide and short over the middle and wide swing passes/bubble screens. Philly's first three picks were to improve their already good defense. FA was flawless the draft to me is meh. Sure I trust Les and I am sure these players are good but not taking a CB when Johnson/Amos were there to me is malpractice. We don't know if we are getting Ramsey or Alexander it is not a for certain unless some deal has been crafted.
Of course I like the #1 next year and if ATL falls apart that could make this draft an A+ alone but we all have talked about the NOW and the SB we reinforced the OLB/TE room so that is an upgrade but taking a RB in the 4th is u forgiveable he is the third RB with big holes still at 3 positions.
Add to my frustration by trading up for the RB and same for DT why do we need any more Data don't we have ENOUGH?
What is even worse they gave up at 4th in the 2026 draft for a DT this year we didn't need whatsoever an absolute F of a pick for no need, players of positional need of more importantance and the cost a 4th rounder next draft seriously?
I guess CBs and ILBs are not important? - 3 Been thanked

July 28th, 2025, 8:34 pm Rams mug… July 28th, 2025, 8:34 pm Rams mug…
Anybody else have these Fisher—ironic, yes—mugs? I just made an important decision. While my son has been in college in Philadelphia, he’s become a stronger Rams fan than he was growing up in SF, often wearing an old school Rams cap. We’re packing him up for fall semester, and I just offered him the Rams mug. He was so grateful. It’ll serve him well for junior year. When I visit in October, maybe I’ll surprise him with my vintage 45 of “Let’s Ram It.”

October 3rd, 2025, 8:03 am Re: Kyren Williams Fumble Cost The Rams Another Victory - Changes Must Be Made October 3rd, 2025, 8:03 am Re: Kyren Williams Fumble Cost The Rams Another Victory - Changes Must Be Made
Glendora,
I aggree 100%, time to bench Kyren and see what Hunter brings to the table.
Kyren is a slightly better than average RB with a big 48 million dollar contract. He consistently fumbles at crucial game points. These fumble/losses are absolutely demoralizing.
I don't want to hear about what a great back he is; RBs like him can be had each draft in the 3rd or 4th rounds.
Also, Shula better figure out how to stop 5-10 yard dink and dunk QBs as we will see plenty more of this in the future.
Lastly, we clearly have not fixed the extra point/FG protection on STs. This shit needs to be meaningfully addressed now!

June 6th, 2025, 11:09 am Re: Chris Shula’s Rams Defense Is Poised to Dominate in 2025 June 6th, 2025, 11:09 am Re: Chris Shula’s Rams Defense Is Poised to Dominate in 2025
I feel 2025 should be a good deal better on defense.
The DL has a alot of experience we added Poona which will be a strong addition.
The OLBs have experience and Verse will be better and adding Stewart will help add depth to the OLBs.
I am very happy with all the additions at ILB with Paul, Dolac and Landman. A lot of attention was paid here and hopefully it will be a stronger unit. Speights got a good deal of playing time which will benefit him greatly.
The CBs are still a concern but Forbes, DK and Akkello having a full training camp it should help for sure. Adding one more would shore it up nicely whether it's Ramsey or someone else.
Safeties will be better with McCullough getting reps last year and Kitchens in his 2nd year this group is solid.
Lastly the coaching a good deal of continuity with Shula having a full year under his belt.
Overall we need better ILB coverage and not letting those devastating long runs happen in 2 games Philly had 5 for TDs Saquon had 4 this must stop if we want to be a SB contender.
I think we should be very solid (top10) on defense. Mainly due to our DL/OLB play backed up by stronger ILB play everyone on the backend will benefit. - 3 Been thanked
